Died:
lately, on the Coast of Africa, on board the U S
ship John Adams, of the bilious remittent fever,
contracted while in command of a vessel despatched
from Sierra Leone to the American settlement in
the island of Sherbro, Mdshpmn Jas M Freeman, of
Sandwich, Mass. He was in the action of Sep 11,
1814, on Lake Champlain.
