LEWERT

Does anyone remember Henry V
Lewert? Born Sep 1921 in Penna, died Dec 2000 in Huntsville,
Arkansas. There was a Henry V Lewert who worked for Dow at
Midland in 1970's as a translation supervisor and I can't tell
if he's the same guy. Soc Sec records seem to indicate he is.

CHERRY
3/12/2011 #1 |
Looking for descendants of the Cherry family
from Bay and Saginaw Counties. The family originally came down
from Simcoe County, Ontario Canada. Best I can tell is 3 to 4
brothers came down and settled. Robert Cherry in Beaver Twp, Bay
Co., John Cherry in Bay Co., Abel Cherry in 1891 in Bay Co., and
James Cherry in 1867 in Ottawa Co. I am especially interested in
the branch of Abel's family that later moved to Saginaw after
1900. His children include Thomas, Albert ( m. Elizabeth
Butler), Sidney ( m. Hattie Bryce & Elizabeth Butler after
Albert died ), Percilla ( m. Edwin Hunt), Minnie ( also married
Edwin Hunt after her sister died ). Robert is buried in Beaver
Cemetery and I am looking at who else maybe buried in the 8
person plot as many of the records to this cemetery are lost.
