Announcement has been received by Miss Lulu M. Mansur of the marriage of Miss Abby Sheldon Price to Charles D. Bayly at Charleviox Mich. on August 31 (1921). Miss Price was librarian at Stevens Point Normal three years ago. Mr. and Mrs. Bayly are to be at home at Cleveland Hts., Ohio after November 1.

(Denver Colo) - John Markham 22, alias J. Morgan of Granite City IL, was held here today by police who said he had confessed the killing of two men, one in Kansas City KS last Sunday and the other on a road near Holyoke Colo. Monday. The youth was arrested this morning. The slain men were Cecil Pruitt, alias Lyle Berry whom officers identified as a former prisoner in the Kansas State Penitentiary and Stanley M. Moore 21 of Chicago and Charlevoix Mich. a hitch hiker.

Coast Guard Capt. Wm. Ludwig said today he feared all hands perished when the Beaver Island Mail boat Marold II was blown to pieces by an explosion while salvaging a gasoline cargo from the abandoned tanker J. Oswald Boyd in Upper Lake Michigan Today. Both vessels caught fire after the explosion and continued to burn throughout the night. At Charlevoix no one was reported missing this morning and persons who saw the Marold leaving said only the five crew members were aboard. Ludwig said he had been unable to confirm a report that four sight seers accopanied Capt. L.L.Hill, 83 years old former Kenosha Wisc. skipper when the Marold left Charlevoix for the Boyd at 8:15 a.m. Friday. The five definitely known to be aboard were Capt. Hill, Leon Hill, 50, son of the Capt., Everett Cole, 35 head of the Beaver Island Transit Company which recently bought controling interest in the Marold, Raymond Cole 33, a brother of Everett and Bruce McDonough 33. All were residents of Beaver Island.

The Arnold home is built on an imaginary line dividing Charlevoix and Antrim counties. The couple eats in Antrim county, sleeps in Charlevoix county and pays taxes in both. Under State law the Arnolds vote in the county in which they sleep.
