COPELAND, Fay Quentin, 93, of Rector died Monday, Dec. 30, (2002) at St. Joseph Hospital in Tawas, Mich.
Born in Clay County, he was a farmer, a lifelong resident of Rector and was of the Baptist belief.
Survivors include one son, Gaylon Copeland of Glennie, Mich.; one daughter, Nina Miller of St. Louis; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Beauton Kitchen Copeland; his parents, Quenton Copeland and Lucy Smith Copeland; three brothers; and five grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Irby Funeral Home chapel in Rector, with Steve Oliver officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Heights Cemetery at Rector.
Pallbearers will be David Copeland, Michael Copeland, Gaylon Copeland Jr., Bill Copeland, Quenton Copeland and Harry Snyder.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
