The Michigan Central Railroad's Mercury passenger train steams out of
Jackson towards Battle Creek and Chicago. It is viewed here under
the Carr Street overpass in Jackson in the 1930's. The overhead
pipe structure in the foreground hangs "tell-tales" over the track to
warn men on top of cars of the approaching overpass. See William T. Field Obit.
