"Then later they took us kids there when we were young. I grew up around this lake called Green Lake that is located in Caledonia Michigan. My father’s brother had a place at this lake and then my father and mother got a place at this lake so we were there even more because we lived at the lake. Then when my wife and I got married in 1965 we moved into the cottage that belonged to my father and mother and lived there the first year of our marriage.

Well as it was we moved back to town because it was a long drive for my wife about 25 mile drive just one way for her work and about 12 miles one way for my work. So here we are 44 ½ years later and still in love and living in a house we bought in 1971. Well that’s my story and I just wanted to show you the old post card. I took my first high dive here and of course it was a belly flop and hurt so bad I think I can still feel it.
