In the late 1800s, at the time homesteaders were settling in the Manistique Lakes area and logging activity
increased, this gracious 7500 square foot, 19th century-style lakeside dwelling was built by a railroad company
to serve as a passenger hotel near the Curtis train station. Still operational today, this lakeside country inn
continues to embrace travelers with warmth, comfortable lodging, casual fine dining and stunning views.
