PATRICK HOBAN
, died at Mackinac Island on the 24th, in the 85th year of his age. He had been a resident of the Island for 38 years.

ERDINE HOCHSTETLER
, 75, passed away at Greenwood Rest Home, Hessel, Michigan on November 7,1986. She was born on June 24, 1911 to Gertrude
and William Gates of Quincy, Michigan. In later years, due to her mother's health they moved to Harrison, Michigan, where she was united in marriage to Virgil Hochstetler, April 19, 1941. In 1972, after her
husband retired from the State Highway Department after 38 years of service they moved to St. Martin's Point, spending ther summers there
and winters traveling in warmer climates. Erdine had been fighting lymphoma since 1978. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star
and the Congregational Church. Erdine is survived by her husband, son Robert O'Shaghnessy and his wife Nancy, their sons Michael and Kevin of
Howell, Michigan, stepdaughter Gayla, her husband William Marco and their children Katie and Steven, of Mossiness, Wisconsin. She is also
survived by nieces Rolene Sjolnik of Livonia, Pauline Johnson of Burton, Carol Bowerman of Quincy, Mary Lee Collard of Marshall, and a nephew
Douglas Gates of Coldwater. She was cremated and there will be no services. Arrangemets were handled by the Reamer Funeral Home, Pickford, Michigan.
MRS. WILLIAM C. HULBERT
, wife of William C. Hulbert, died at Erie, Pa., on May 23. The family had been residents of Mackinac Island for 20 years, but removed to Erie 15 years ago.
