BOOTH, Frank W. age 94, of Mio, Michigan, passed away January 31, 2008 at the Schnepp Health Care Center in St. Louis, Ml. He was born in Mio on November 17, 1913 to John S. and Florence I. (Richardson) Booth. He married Bernice Hill on January 1, 1936. They were married for 69 years. Frank drove gravel trucks during WWII, building 3 airports in Pellston, Alpena and Freeland, Ml. He also worked for the Oscoda County Road Commission, owned a planer mill in Mio, and owned a small fleet of trucks used for delivering pallets for Brooks Wood Products in Mio. In 1961, he founded Booth Inc. Pallet Shop in Mio. Frank retired in 1975 and sold the pallet shop to his brother Pete. He was a member of the Mio Seventh-day Adventist Church where he served as a deacon and the assistant treasurer for many years. He collected and worked on antique cars as a hobby in his later years. Mr. Booth was survived by his children: Marilyn (Larry) Butcher of Wheeler, Ml and F. Darrell Booth of Lansing, Ml; his sister Edna Pierce of St. Louis, Ml; his brother Pete Booth of Mio; his grandchildren Larinda Steinke, Lynel & Kevin Horn and LaRayne & Greg Leuenberger; his great-grandchildren Jeff, Kristi, Katie, Josh, Michael, Matthew, Cade, Keagan and Mark; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Bernice Booth in 2005, his sister Alice Ellis and three brothers: John, George and Cyril Booth. Lashley Funeral Home of Mio, Michigan.
