DONAHUE, Mary June, age 83, of Mio, Michigan, passed away at her home September 20th, 2007. Mary June Mobley was born on June 23, 1924 in Detroit to The late Harry & June (Lively) Mobley. She was raised in Highland Park where she graduated from St. Benedict Catholic School in 1943. She entered The US Army Nurse Cadet Corps., graduating from St. Mary's College, Detroit with her with her nursing degree in 1947. Mary June married William Paul Donahue on August 23, 1952 at St. Benedict Catholic Church, Detroit. She had worked as a Registered Nurse at Michigan Osteopathic Medical Center, Detroit, for more than 35 years, retiring in 1986 and then moving to Mio. Mary June was an active member of St. Mary Catholic Church Mio, where she served as Eucharistic Minister and Lector and had been awarded the Parish Volunteer of The Year Award. She was active in the activities of Our Lady of the Woods Shrine and Right To Life and enjoyed traveling worldwide. Surviving were her daughters: Patricia June Donahue and Elizabeth Violet Donahue both of Spruce, MI; son: Paul William (Judith) Donahue of Hubbard Lake, MI; 3 grandchildren: David (Clarissa); Sarah and Mary Lynn, and 2 great grandchildren: Wenton and Josephine. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband William Paul Donahue and her lifelong friend Mildred Rosebrugh formerly of West Branch. Lashley Funeral Home, Mio.

DUNN, Willie, known as Bill Dunn, was born on September 18, 1919 to David W. and Anna B. (Barnett) Dunn in Anawalt, WV. He began working in the coal mines at age 14. He worked as a coal miner until he moved from Coal Mountain, WV to Ypsilanti, Ml. Willie worked briefly in the automotive and plastics industries, and then worked in warehousing and stores for the Bendix Aerospace Corporation until his retirement. He moved to Mio in the late 1970's. Willie had attended and was baptized at the New Beginnings Four Square Church. He will be remembered as an openly loving husband, father, and grandfather; and also for having a great sense of humor. Bill Dunn was survived by his wife Annie P. Dunn; his children: Delores (Don) Faust of Fairview, Ml and Delbert (Trudy) Dunn of Ypsilanti, Ml; his brothers and sisters: James Gracie, Tom, and Billy; 11 Grandchildren; 19 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great-Great Grandchildren. Billie Dunn was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter Deborah Deer, 2 brothers, and 4 sisters. Arrangements by Lashley Funeral Home of Mio, Michigan.
