ROBERT HENKEL

Born, Detroit, Jan. 20, 1860; son of Peter and Julia (Mordhorst) Henkel; educated in private schools; married at Detroit, Mar. 23, 1887, Athena Yemans. Began active career in grocery and provision house of his father, continuing, 1873-87; entered flour milling business, 1887; and became secretary and treasurer of the Comerical Milling Co., of which has been president since 1903; since 1902, president Commercial Milling Co., of Cleveland. Also director First National Bank, and of the Detroit Barrel Co.; director and treasurer Beck Cereal Co., vice president Michigan Commercial Fire Insurance Co. Presbyterian.Vice presiden Michigan Miller's Association; member Detroit Board of Trade, Chamber of Commerce.Mason. Clubs: Harmonie Society. Country, Detroit Boat, Detroit Motor Boat. JULIUS HENKEL

Physician, specialist; born Detroit, Mich., Jan. 26, 1873; son of Peter and Julia (Mordhorst) Henkel; educated in private school and by private tuition, Detroit; Yates' Institute, Saratoga Springs, N.Y., 1886; private tuition, Marburg, a.d. Lah,, Germany, 1887-89; graduate Detroit College of Medicine, M. D., 1896; post-graduate study, Vienna (Austria), Berlin, Munich, Margurg, Cassel and Hattenberg. Has engaged in practice in Detroit since June 1, 1897. Life member Association of Military Surgeons of the United States; member Wayne County Medical Society, Michigan Medical Society, Nu Signa Nu medical fraternity. Enlisted as private in Michigan Nationa Guard since Jan. 20, 1905. Reorganiized medical service and organized Medical Department, Michigan Guard, 1904; treasurer and vice prisident , 1906; president of Detroit Light Infantry. 1907. Independent Republican.
