GEORGE HENRY LESHER

Lawyer; born, Easton, Pa.; son of Joseph H. and Susan (Kortz) Lesher; educated in public schools of Detroit and Mayhew’s Business College; studied law and was admitted to the bar, 1888; married at Sharon, Pa., Berdella E. Hulette. Deputy clerk in Recorder’s Court, Dec. 5, 1873-Mar. 1, 1900 ; began practice of law, 1888, and since retiring from Recorder’s Court in 1900 has devoted entire time to practice. Director Peninsular Savings Bank, Stewart Transportation Co.; secretary Sheyboygan (Wis.) Gas Light Co. Republican. Member Detroit Bar Association. Mason; member B.P.O.E. Clubs: Detroit Boat, Detroit Boat Club Yachtsman, Detroit Yacht, Harmonie Society. Recreation: Yachting. Office: 815 Union Trust Bldg. Residence: Lucerne Apts.

HOWARD J. LESHER

Treasurer Detroit Trust Co.; born, Easton, Pa., Aug. 9, 1856; son of Joseph H. and Susan (Kortz) Lesher; educated in public schools of Detroit; married at Joliet, Ill., Aug. 15, 1896, Miss Louise Minihan. Began business career as messenger First National Bank, Detroit, continuing one year; was connected with the office of collector of customs four years, two years in office of register of deeds and four years in money order department of the Detroit postoffice; after serving a year as deputy collector of customs was for four years in the office of city assessor and for four years acted as cashier of the postoffice; was with Union Trust Co., 1893-1902 has been treasurer Detroit Trust Co. since 1902. Republican. Member Detroit Board of Commerce. Clubs: Detroit, Detroit Golf, Detroit Boat, Old Club. Office: Detroit Trust Co. Residence: 121 Seward Av.
