JOHN H. MEYERING
Real estate and investments; born, Jamestown, Mich., Sept. 26, 1880; son of Henry and Anna (Pickaart) Meyering; educated in Jamestown public schools and at high school and college, Grand Rapids, Mich., 1897-1901; married, Grand Rapids, Feb. 1, 1905, Joanna Ellen Maxwell. Began active career as clerk Grand Rapids & Indiana R.R., continuing, 1899-1902; then was assistant cashier Zeeland State Bank, Zeeland, Mich., 1902-06; was sales manager for Charles B. Hays, real estate operator, Kalamazoo, Mich.; came to Detroit and associated with his brother, J.R. Meyering, Feb. 1, 1907, under firm name of J.H. & J.R. Meyering, real estate and investments. J. RALPH MEYERING
Real estate and investments; born, Jamestown, Mich., (Ottawa Co) Mar. 15, 1882; son of Henry and Ann (Pickaart) Meyering; educated in public schools of Jamestown and Grand Rapids (Mich.) High School and College, 1899-1903; unmarried. Began active career as clerk in State Savings Bank, Scottsville, Mich., serving as assistant cashier of the bank, 1899-03; took charge of credit department Lull Carriage Co., Kalamazoo, Mich., 1903, and continued until 1906, when he came to Detroit; organized, with his brother John H., the real estate and investment firm of J.H. & J.R. Meyering, which has been in operation since Feb. 1, 1907. Member Detroit Real Estate Board. Republican. Congregationalist. Club: Fellowcraft. Recreations: Tennis and golf. Office: 727-728-729 Chamber of Commerce Bldg. Residence: 86 Edmund Place.
