MICHAEL THEISEN

Lumber; born, Detroit, July 1, 1872; son of Peter and Mary A. (Bleser) Theisen; educated in parochial schools and Detroit Business College; married at Detroit, 1897, Ida C. Lehr. Began business career as office boy in employ of C.W. Restrick, lumber merchant, 1887, and became general manager of the company; severed connection with the company, 1900, and organized with F.W. May, the F.W. May Lumber Co.; bought out partner and has since operated alone as M.J. Theisen; also bought out the old West Side Lumber Co., and formed the Central Lumber Co., of which was president until June 1, 1907, when he became owner; founded The M.J. Theisen Co., April, 1905, of which is president. Member Detroit Board of Commerce. Catholic. Recreation: Automobiling. Office: 18th and Rose Sts. Residence: 145 Leverett St

Born, Detroit, Apr. 17, 1880; son of Peter and Mary A. (Bleser) Theisen; educated in parochial schools, St. Joseph’s Commercial College and Detroit Business University; married at Detroit, 1904, Clara L. Reeber. Began active career as messenger United States Savings Bank, advancing to position of head bookkeeper, which he occupied for ten years, 1896-1906; has since been secretary and treasurer of The M.J. Theisen Trunk Co. Catholic. Recreations: Music and boating. Office; 980-992 Scotten Av. Residence: 105 Church St.
