Axford. Began active career in employ of Buhl Sons & Co., Detroit, Feb. 2, 1881, continuing four years; traveled for J. P. Donaldson until Dec., 1886 when he started in mill supply business; operates a store in Detroit, and manufactures wood pulleys, babbett metals and steam packings, also store and babbett metal factory in Windsor, Ont.
