L. WILLIAM BACHE , was born Sept 3, 1914, in McKeesport, PA and he died Sept.6, 2008 at age 94. Survived by wife Elaine Agnes (Moss). Father of William (Barbara), Donald (Connie) and Cynthia. Brother of Gerald (Marian) Scott, and the late Harold (Vivian) Bache. Also survived by 7 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. WWII Veteran served in Europe at the Battle of the Bulge. Received a Bronze Star Medal. Worked for Great Lakes Steel for 42 years. Retired as Senior Vice President. Resident of Dearborn, Michigan.

DOREEN E. (LYALL) BELANGIE - Survived by her husband, Earl Belangie, whom she married on May 29, 1968, in Toledo, Lucas County, OH; son & his wife, Stan & Bev Pirozek, Kingsley, MI; son, Russell Pirozek, Oxford, MI; daughters, Pam Vardas, Westland, MI, Sarah & her husband, Dan Wager, Bellaire, MI, and Lyn & her husband, John Webb, Livonia, MI; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brothers, Derrick & wife, Candy Lyall, Livonia; & David Lyall, Westland, MI; sister, Freida Brandon, Forest, Ontario, Canada. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Caroline Belangie, and her parents, John & Florence (Farmer) Lyall. Graveside services were conducted on Tuesday, September 18, 2007.

RUTH ANNA (NEWTON) BELTZ , age 86, of Owosso, Michigan, passed away July 9, 2008 at Ovid Healthcare. Ruth worked for Sears, Turnstedt in Detroit, Bodker Dairy, and owned and operated a party store. She also worked for Kelly Services, Twin Pines Dairy, and Awrey Bakeries. Memorial: Nelson-House Funeral Home. Ruth's final resting place: Park View Memorial Cemetery in Livonia, Michigan. Ruth was born on November 28, 1921 in New Castle, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Clair and Anna (Haack) Newton. She graduated from Redford High School in Redford, Wayne Co., Michigan. On June 30, 1951 she married Mark Beltz in Detroit. She enjoyed gardening, quilting, and sewing. Survivors included her daughter, Alice (Ralph) Schmidt of Owosso; step-son, William (Pauline) Beltz of Harrison; granddaughter, Abigail Elise Schmidt of Owosso; and brother, Tom (Yvonne) Newton of Pickford. She was predeceased by her husband, Mark; and her parents.

JAMES F. BERRIS , of South Lyon, Michigan, died May 31, 2000. Husband of Helen. Father of Frank (Cheri), Conn, Angelo and Tina (Tony) Conti. Nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren. MAXINE (HARRISON) BIDWELL , age 71, of Livonia, Wayne County, Michigan, passed away July 2, 2008. She was born in Ann Arbor, Washtenaw County, Michigan, on October 9, 1936, and was a 1954 Graduate of Plymouth High School. Maxine married Albert Bidwell on February 14, 1958. In 1960 they moved to Livonia to raise their family. They were blessed with two children; Steven W. (Lynn), and Linda LaPlatt. Proud grandmother of Allison, Megan, Bridget, and Alexander. Dear sister of Hazel Ellis, Vivian (Clare) Scheffer, Yvonne DeChamplain, Marie (George) Drewno, Elmer (Marlene) Harrison, and Earl Harrison. For the past 22 years Maxine has worked at the Northville Twp, Meijer store as a greeter. She loved her job and many of the customers have become her extended family. In her spare time, she enjoyed doing crossword puzzles.

PAUL HERBERT BIESZK , age 69, life-long Belleville, Michigan area resident, passed away March 11, 2008 at Oakwood Hospital-Annapolis Center, Wayne, MI. He was born November 7, 1938 in Garden City, MI, son of the late James Jacob & Mary (Czubowicz) Bieszk. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy after the Korean Conflict. He was an avid supporter of the local veterans organizations and services. Paul retired from the General Motors Willow Run Plant after more than 25 years of loyal service. He was survived by a daughter Lori (Terry) Calhoun of Belleville, MI, a son Timothy Bieszk of Belleville, MI, 5 grandchildren Danielle Ensch, Bryan Ensch, Amber Bieszk, Matthew Bieszk and Alyssa Bieszk, two sisters Doris (Robert) Courtney and Patricia Mayer, both of Belleville, MI, three brothers Lloyd (Phyllis) Bieszk of Tawas City, MI, Gerald (Rita) Bieszk of Willis, MI and Daniel (Donna) Bieszk of Belleville, MI, also numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Paul was preceded in death by his parents, also three brothers Carl, Fred and Donald Bieszk.

LOUIS RICHARD BINGHAM - Born and raised in the Brightmoor area of Detroit, Louis served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He held a variety of positions including heavy equipment operation. After his time in the service, Lou went on to college, attending Wayne State University and earning his Bachelors degree there. He then earned his Masters Degree at the University of Michigan. Several years later, Lou returned to Wayne State for their doctoral program, earning his Doctorate of Education. He was a teacher in the Dearborn Public Schools for about thirty years and served with the Dearborn Education Association. After retirement and the loss of his beloved Dorothy, Lou filled his time with travel and many clubs and activities. He was a world traveler, having visited not only all 50 states, but also most of Europe and numerous other worldwide destinations, including the extremely remote and unusual countries that few people ever visit. Lou belonged to the Nomad's and was a member of the National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors. He also was a member of the Plymouth Elks, Lola Valley Masonic Lodge, the Royal Order of Scotland, Valley of Detroit Chapter of the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite and the Moslem Shriners. Lou was an active member of the Michigan Society of the Sons of the American Revolution. He was a descendant of Spencer R. "Clinch River" Breeding of Russell County, Virginia.

FRANCES (ALGER) BOYER , 83, member of a prominent family in Michigan politics and the widow of Harold Boyer, a retired General Motors Corp. vice-president, died Monday in her Grosse Pointe Farms home. Mrs. Boyer was a society hostess who was dedicated to public service. She was the sister of former Michigan Secretary of State Frederick M. Alger Jr., who also was President Dwight Eisenhower's ambassador to Belgium. Her grandfather, Gen. Russell Alger, served as a Michigan governor, U.S. senator and U.S. secretary of war during the Spanish-American War. Mrs. Boyer, a Detroit native, volunteered for Red Cross work during World War II and served for several years on the board of trustees of Franklin Settlement. She was a member of the Junior League of Detroit and the Tau Beta Association, a social service sorority. Friends and relatives said she thrived on throwing parties, favoring small, intimate suppers with relatives and friends on Sunday nights in the pool house of her Grosse Pointe Farms ho me. She is survived by her daughters, ___ sons, and 10 grandchildren. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery in Detroit.

ROBERT DONALD BRAYMAN , age 69. Passed away January 5, 2007. Resided in Adrian, Michigan. Beloved husband of the late Carolyn E. Loving father of Robert (Tina) Brayman, Kevin ( Carmen) Brayman, Ruth Barrera, Mary ( Terry ) DiLaura, Tim ( Elizabeth ) Brayman and Cheryl Brayman. Brother of John Patrick Brayman, Thomas F. ( Cathy ) Riney and Patricia M. ( Michael ) White. Very proud grandfather of twenty one grandchildren and great grandfather of seven. Preceded in death by his parents, Burr Brayman and Mary Elizabeth, and Maurice J. "Moe" Riney. Visitation at Vermeulen Funeral Home, 980 N. Newburgh (bwtn Ford Rd. & Cherry Hill) on Monday from 3-9:00 PM and Tuesday from 2-9:00PM. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 AM at the Vermeulen Funeral Home. Interment will be at Parkview Memorial Cemetery in Livonia.

JOSEPHINE (DEMON) BROWN , age 92 of Dearborn. Beloved wife of the late Loventz. Dear mother of Marie-Louise (Baltasar) Capote. Dear grandmother of Heather (Mark) Capote-Powell and Gregory (Jeannette) Capote. Also leaves five great-grandchildren. Mrs. Brown lived the principles of The Unity Church. Her positive giving spirit was an inspiration to her many friends and family. Josephine and her husband were active in the Masonic Order. She had a deep appreciation for history, literature and art. Animal rights were of paramount significance to her. She was a decendent of Lewis Morris, signer of the Declaration of Independence. Visitation Tuesday 12 noon until Prayers at 2 PM at Vermeulen Funeral Home, 46401 W. Ann Arbor Road, Plymouth (Between Sheldon & Beck). Interment Parkview Memorial Cemetery.

JEANNINE MARIE (LEROUS) BUSSART - She is the Beloved wife of Robert E. Bussart of 47 years. Born to Amelia and Alexandre Leroux in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. She served in the Canadian Navy at the age of 17 and arrived in the United States in 1953. She was preceded in death by her parents, her stepfather Rudolph Lacasse, her brother Leo Leroux, sisters Anita Walchal and Theresa Stocks. Jeannine and Robert raised their family in Livonia and she worked for the Livonia Public School Department for over 20 years as a bus driver. She was an active member of the Warren Road Light & Life Free Methodist Church where she served her Lord faithfully with her husband. Jeannine always wore a smile and with a twinkle in her eye, she never met a stranger. Her passion for dancing helped to fill her days with joy during her final years. Thanks to those who encouraged her to press on and to share in her love for dancing at the Livionia, Maplewood and Wayne Senior Centers. She is survived by her husband, Robert E. Bussart, of 47 years, two daughters, Cheryl A. Lundin and her husband Don, of Williamsburg, Virginia and Cindy M. Jury and her husband Jim of Plymouth, Michigan, six grand children; Jeannine Whitehead and her husband Greg, Jason Banwart and his wife Dana, Christin Jury, Bethany Jury, Sarah Jury and Hayley Jury and two great grand children.
