THEODORE SCHEMANSKE , 63, brother of Recorder's Judge Frank G. Schemanske, died Sunday night at his home 3086 24th. Schemanske was court clerk for Common Pleas Judge David C. Vokes. He underwent a serious operation two months ago and had been ill since. His wife Anna survives.

CLARA (BOGART) SOBIE - Funeral services for Clara (Bogart) Sobie, 71, were held on Monday morning in the St. "Ignatius Church in Detroit. Mrs. Sobie died Thursday morning in a Detroit hospital. Survivors include her husband, Harry C. Sobie Sr. two daughters, Florence Wadsworth and Elanor Woodward, one son, Harry Jr, two sisters, Stela Bogart of Detroit and Josephine Keyes of Rochester, Michigan, four brothers, Vern of Brighton, Leo of Detroit, Mike and Al of Bronson. Also ten grandchildren.

JOHN M. SPUDICH , 38, a resident of Detroit, Mich., and a brother to Joe Spudich, Freeport high school basketball coach, died March 23 of wounds received in action on Luzon while serving with an infantry division. He is survived by his wife, three children, his parents, four brothers and four sisters. His parents reside at Sawyerville. He had served with the armed forces more than two years.

EDWARD D. STAIR - Services for Edward D. Stair, former publisher of the Detroit Free Press, operator of Detroit legitimate theaters and financier of many interests, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the William R. Hamilton Co. chapel, 3975 Cass. Burial will be in the Stair mausoleum at Woodlawn Cemetery. More than 40 men prominent in Detroit business, industrial and civic life will act as honorary pallbearers. Mr. Stair died Wednesday at the age of 92.
