ROCHESTER HIGH SCHOOL.
The annual enrollment in this free school is about 700 with nearly 400 other pupils in the three ward schools. The high school building cost $75,000. It is furnace heated; well ventilated; furnished with improved desks, and modern school apparatus. It has 14 school rooms 24x33, lecture room 55x75, wardrobes, recitation rooms, superintendent's office, etc. Teachers are experienced and under the care of Professor Durkee are doing good work. A full course here fits the student for any college.
