Peter a runaway Slave, committed to jail as a runaway and has not been claimed by any owner for six months.

Charlotte, a negro women, committed to the jail of said county for not having complied with the laws concerning slaves, free negroes and molattoes passed 20th Dec. 1831, to be sold for term of five years. Sale at the County Court House, 3rd Monday in Feb., next.

Elias, negro man, committed to said jail of said county for not having complied with the laws concerning slaves, free negroes and molattoes passed 20th Dec. 1831, to be sold for term of five years.

Sam, runaway Slave, committed to the jail of said county as a runaway slave and has not been claimed by any owner for six months from the day of his commitment, Monday in April next at Court house.

8th of Feb 1833, by William B. Melvin, Esq., a mulatto boy calling himself
Hartwell Curtis, he says he is a free negro, about 21 years of age, about 5'8, spare made, he had when committed a very severe wound on one of his legs, appeared to have been occasioned by snagging or bruised, so much so that he was not in his right mind when apprehended, he was very badly ??? in some old rags of linen.

19th of Feb. 1833, by C. Griffin, Esq., a negro man calling himself Tom and says belongs to Thomas C. Davis near Nashville Tenn. 5'8, about 30 years of age, very dark complexion and very st???ly made, had one coatee and pantaloons of mixed casient, good bregaus, old for hat. Said negro that he came down river in a skiff until he got close to this place and out and walked.

26th Feb. 1833, by C. Griffin, Esq., a negro girl calling herself Milly and says she belongs to Solomon Barnes and overseer of said county, abt 35 years old, of dark complexion, very thick lips. To my knowledge she formerly belonged to a Mr. Welch, who kept a tavern on the Pine Ridge road, leading from Natchiz to Port Gibson, she had on a Calico dress, head handkerchief, good shoes and a cloak.

12th of Feb. 1883, by C. Griffin, Esq., a negro boy calling himself Jim and says he belongs to Capt. Miller in New Orleans. About 15 years old, of yellow complexion, good countenance, well made and speaks intelligently. He had on a pair of yellow Linsey pantaloons very much worn, mixed Linsey roundabouts, good be?gans and an old cap.

2nd of Feb. 1833, a negro boy calling himself John, says he belongs to William Brown, of Vicksburg. About 5'6 and 25 years of age, yellowish complexion had on mixed linsey pantaloons, drab roundabout, red flannel shirt, old fur hat and a pair of good red brogans, has a fine sprightly countenance and quite stoutly made.

5th Dec. 1832, by C. Griffin Esq. , a negro boy who calls himself Henry and says he belongs to Mr. McCarty New Orleans, 5'5 about 17 years old, very dark complexion, has a very keen sharp eye and is rather thin, inclined to be square in is person. Had a pair of mixed casein pantaloons, a cottonsp?t, linnen roundabout and an old wool hat.

4th of Jan. 1833, by C. Griffin Esq. , a negro man calling himself Daniel and says belongs to John Jones of New Orleans 5'5, quite dark complexion, he is unusually stout made, large white eyes, had on blue cloth pantaloons and an old blue dress coat and cotton shirt.

30th Dec. 1832, by C. Griffin Esq. , a negro man calling himself James Ran, who says he is free and formerly lived in the Arkansas Territory, 5'5 about 45 years old, robust person of yellowish complexion prominent and read eyes, speaks rather the African or St. Domingo dialect, had on a cas??? roundabout, cotton shirt and a pair of coperas colored cotton corded pantaloons.

13th of Oct. 1833, by C. Griffin Esq. , a negro man calling himself Harry, says belongs to a Mr. Boston of New Orleans. 5'3 1/2 about 21years old, moderately dark complexion, stout and square made, has on a drab roundabout and mixes cas??? pantaloons, linen shirt and an old fur hat.

2d of March 1833, by C. Griffin Esq. , a negro boy calling himself Bill, says he belongs to Mr. Griffin near Baton Rouge, LA. 5'10 about 19years of age, very dark complexion, of spare make but not delicate, had on good white linsey pantaloons, cotton shirt, good brogans and good chappo.
