PRESS NOTICE: Wm. H. Smith of "No Mistake" Plantation south of Satartia died at 10:30 o'clock in Vicksburg Hospital of heart attack. Methodist Pastor, Fleet J. Jones, held services. Satartia charge - Buried in Glenwood Cemetery; was youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. F.P. Smith; was born Oct. 25, 1901; graduated at State College. Married Ethel Barfield of Pine Bluff, Ark.

REMARKS: Frances Pleasant Smith (Son of Elizabeth H. Prichard and Wm. Ingram Smith) was born May 3, 1857; married Kathryn Ratliff (Born Sept. 14, 1866) Oct. 14, 1896. Two sons were born.: 1st Frank P. Smith born Feb. 27, 1898, bachelor, dies Dec. 4, 1943; 2nd Wm. Henry Smith, born Oct. 25, 1901, married Ethel M. Garfield Oct 29, 1926, died Nov. 3, 1948.

FUNERAL NOTICE
The friends and acquaintances of B.L. Prichard are invited to attend his funeral tomorrow (Sunday) afternoon at two o'clock P.M. at his late residence. Services by the Rev. Mr. Andrews, Canton, April 20, 1867.
OBITUARY J.S. PRICHARD
Died at his residence in this county on the morning of the 15th inst., after a long and painful illness, James S. Prichard, in the 52nd year of his life. The deceased was, we believe, a resident within the present limits of Madison before it was organized as a county; and ever during the whole period of his life had been one of our most trusted and esteemed citizens, etc…..
MRS. EMELINE GALTNEY
Died April 16, 1877, of pneumonia after a brief illness of twenty four hours, at the residence of her husband, Mr. D.K. Galtney, near Sharon, Miss., Mrs. Emeline Galtney. She was the eldest daughter of Kinsman Divine & was born in Jefferson County, Miss., July 22, 1816, & was married to Mr. D.K. Galtney Jan 12, 1832. She joined the Methodist Church at Pleasant Grove Camp meeting in 1842. For more than forty-five years she had been the helpful wife of a faithful husband, left to mourn her loss……
