Prichard are invited to attend his funeral tomorrow (Sunday) afternoon at two o'clock P.M. at his late residence. Services by the Rev. Mr. Andrews, Canton, April 20, 1867. OBITUARY J.S. PRICHARD Died at his residence in this county on the morning of the 15th inst., after a long and painful illness, James S. Prichard, in the 52nd year of his life. The deceased was, we believe, a resident within the present limits of Madison before it was organized as a county; and ever during the whole period of his life had been one of our most trusted and esteemed citizens, etc….. MRS. EMELINE GALTNEY Died April 16, 1877, of pneumonia after a brief illness of twenty four hours, at the residence of her husband, Mr. D.K. Galtney, near Sharon, Miss., Mrs. Emeline Galtney. She was the eldest daughter of Kinsman Divine & was born in Jefferson County, Miss., July 22, 1816, & was married to Mr. D.K. Galtney Jan 12, 1832. She joined the Methodist Church at Pleasant Grove Camp meeting in 1842.
