Moore, Augusta Letitia
A telegram was received here on Wednesday morning by J. A. Mabery from Rev. W. J. Moore as follows: "Wife passed away at 8:40 tonight (Tuesday night). Funeral at Grandbury, Texas, Thursday."
Mrs. Moore is the wife of the Methodist pastor in this city but has been under physicians' care in Oklahoma City for several weeks. She was afflicted with cancer of the stomach.
Rev. Moore is filling his second year in the ministry here and his wife has been here most of the time. She was loved by everyone who knew her and was an active worker in the church until her health forced her out of the active work.
A son lives in Oklahoma City and one in Fort Worth, Texas. It is reported that a daughter's home is at Grandbury, Texas, where the body is to be buried.

Augusta Letitia (Shirley) Moore was born March 30, 1855, in Choctaw County, Mississippi. She was married to Rev. W. J. Moore, December 19, 1876, at Grandbury, Texas. To them were born six children.
