Samuel Christian Heildelberg; born Feb. 13, 1883 - died Dec. 9, 1901.  Age 18 yrs, 8 mos & 26 days.  "The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want."  His many virtues form the noblest monument in his memory.

 

Here Lies Our Dear Husband and Father

S. C. Heildelberg; born May 30, 1810 - died May 19, 1895.  Aged 84 yr's, 11 mo's & 19 days.

"Farewell Dear Husband and Father, God help us to meet you in heaven."

Lilly M; daugthter of Mr & Mrs. G. E. Risher; born Jan. 1, 1872 - died May 4, 1894

"Seeing some sunny spot in those bright fields.  Needed the fair presence of an added flower.  God sent a starry angel in the night.  At morn our Lilly had vanished from our border."

 

Here Lies Our Dear Mother

Martha Heildelberg, wife of S. C. Heidelberg; died June 20, 1872.  Aged 46 years. 

"She lived to love and pray fro the salvation of her children and left them to be followed to God's kingdom."

"Mother thou has from use flown

To the Regions far above.

We to thee erect this stone

Consecrated by our love."

 

Alletha; daughter of S. C. & Martha Heildelberg; born about 1855 - died July 1871.  Age 16 years

 

George C., son of S. C. & Martha Heildelberg; born March 30, 1839 and received a mortal wound in the second battle of Mannassass VA on Aug 31, 1862 and died Sept. 13, 1862.  Aged 23 years, 5 mos & 13 days.  (CSA VETERAN)

 

Adellaide J., daughter of S. C. & Martha Heildelberg; born Feb. 27, 1838 - died June 18, 1855.  Aged 17 years, 3 mos & 2 dys.

 

Elizabeth, daughter of S. C. & Martha Heildelberg; born 1854 - died 1855

 

James Milton, son of W. I. & M. E. Heildelberg; born Jan. 7, 1868 - died March 4, 1868

 

Radolf Walter, son of W. I. & M. E. Heildelberg; born Nov. 21, 1868 - died Nov. 22, 1868

M. E., wife of W. I. Heildelberg; born Aug. 1, 1850 - died June 16, 1893.

"Her last words were: 'I am going home to glory.'  She then presssed her husbands cheek more firmly to her own and said. ' Oh Darling.'  Then breathed her last and took flight to regions far above."

"Let me with our precious little ones bid you farewell until we can meet thee at the gate of heaven."

 

W. I. Heildelberg; born Oct 31, 1840 - died June 5, 1901. 

"Dear father tho' we miss you much, we know you rest in Heaven."

"Her end as peace.  She died a like she lived, A CHRISTIAN."

"A tender mother and a faithful friend."

 

Ida Del, daughter of E. M. & M. E. Jenkins; March 21, 1876 - July 4, 1877.

William W., son of S. C. & Martha Heildelberg; born March 21, 1842 - died March 19, 1877.  Age 35 years less 2 days.  (Note- marker is broken in half.)
