Michael E. Harrington Sr.

Retired

Graveside services for Michael E. Harrington Sr. will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. at
Union Cemetery in Clarke County with the Rev. Frank Cosgrove officiating. Barham Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Harrington, 68, of
Meridian, died Sunday, Jan. 21, 2007, at Rush Foundation Hospital. He was a veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard. He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church.

Survivors include his children, Erin Lewis and her husband, Glen, of Meridian, Michael E. Harrington Jr., of Quitman, John P. Harrington and his wife, Kelly, of Anchorage, Alaska, Jennifer Riley and her husband, Todd, of Quitman, Tim Harrington of Miami Beach, Fla. and Shannon Measell of Quitman.; 12 grandchildren; a brother, John A. Harrington of Chicago and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur John and Myrtle Harrington and a brother, Kit Harrington.

Visitation will be Thursday from 10 a.m. until noon at the
funeral home.

Margarene Clegg Hastings

Retired office worker

QUITMAN — Graveside services for Margarene Clegg Hastings will be held Wednesday at
2 p.m. at Pine Hill Cemetery with the Revs. Richard Cothern and Carlos Clinton officiating.

Mrs. Hastings, 81, of Quitman, died Sunday, Dec. 31, 2006, at
Lakeside Living Center in Quitman. She was a lifelong member of Meridian Seventh Day Adventist Church and a lifelong resident of the Enterprise community. She was a retired office worker from Burlington Industries.

Survivors include two daughters, Barbara Hastings Stephens of Equality, Ala., and Rebecca Riley Miller of Rose Hill; a step-daughter, Marva Rie Hastings Erwin of Bogue Chitto; and three sisters, Elizabeth Hancock of Meridian, Maurene Hutcherson of Lauderdale, and Carol Seibert of Alberta, Ala.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Pascal Clegg Sr. and Lillie Mae Cross Clegg.

Visitation will be after 5 p.m. today at Wright’s Funeral Home in Quitman.

Mrs. Lou Ella Heathcock

Mrs. Lou Ella Heathcock, age 47, passed away December 22, at the family resident at West Enterprise, Miss., Route Two.

She is survived by her husband, H. S. Heathcock; four daughters, Mrs. Mae Jewel Crumpton of Meridian, Route One, and Misses Lillian, Aprilglee and Augustine Heathcock: three sons, J. D., Leroy, and Hershel Heathcock; two sisters, Mrs. Laura Stewart, of Copeland, Ala., and Mrs. Flora Kumbler of Millry, Ala.; two brothers, Lawrence James of Copeland, Ala., and Edd James of Sylacauga, Ala.; and two grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements in charge of McClellan and Walters Funeral Home.

Rodney Lamar Henderson

    Services for Rodney Lamar Henderson were held Saturday at 1 p.m. at White Oak Baptist Church.  The Rev. W. L. Dixon officiated with interment at the White Oak Cemetery.

    Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Sandra Henderson, Stonewall; one daughter, Chaquita Henderson, St. Louis, Mo.; one step son, Carey Goodwin, Stonewall; two brothers, Gary Henderson and Byron Henderson, St. Louis, Mo.; mother, mrs. Elnora Henderson, St. Louis Mo., and father, Earnest Henderson, Fresno, Calif.

Enterprise Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Rev. Julian Edward Holloman

QUITMAN — Services for the Rev. Julian Edward Holloman will be held today at 2 p.m. at
East Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with the Revs. Jerry East, Leon Parnell and Hal Taylor officiating. Burial will be in Hebron Ridge Cemetery in Clarke County. Wright’s Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Rev. Holloman, 79, of Quitman, died Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2007, at
Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. He was pastor of numerous churches in East Mississippi and West Alabama for more than 40 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Survivors include his wife, Wilma D. Holloman; a son, William Edward Holloman; daughters, Brenda Dearman and her husband, Ricky, Shirley Taylor and her husband, Ed Jr., and Christy McDaniel and her husband, Harold; a brother, Harold Holloman; a sister, Mary Pogue; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and special friends, Bernice and Faye McCarra.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Esther and Ethel Holloman and a brother, Raymond Holloman.

Pallbearers will be Scott Taylor, Joshua McDaniel, Greg Ballard, Ric Dearman, Bo Pentecost and John Morgan.

Honorary pallbearers will be Leon Null, Brion Ballard and David McDaniel.

Visitation will be today one hour prior to the service at the church.
