QUITMAN — Graveside services for James Leroy Kemp will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Andrew’s Chapel Cemetery in Clarke County with the Rev. Ernest Allen officiating. Wright’s Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Kemp, 87, of Waynesboro, died Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2007, at Pine View Nursing Center in Waynesboro. He was a retired veteran of the U.S. Army.

Survivors include his step-daughter, Kathleen Sagrillo; one sister and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Saturday beginning at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Era Ford Kennedy

Services for Mrs. Era Ford Kennedy were held Monday at 10 a. m. in the chapel of Wright's Funeral Home with the Rev. Rex Yancey officiating. Burial was in the Oddfellows (sic) Cemetery.

Mrs. Kennedy died Saturday in the Queen City Nursing Center in Meridian.

Survivors include a sister, Miss Winnie Ford, Quitman and Meridian, and several nieces and nephews.
