Lean Mae
Hayes Manasco
QUITMAN — Services for Lean Mae Hayes Manasco will be held today at 2 p.m. at
Wright’s Funeral Home Chapel, with the Revs. Brent Manasco and Jeff Smith
officiating. Burial will be in Desoto Cemetery.
Mrs. Manasco, 93, of Quitman, died Friday, Jan. 5, 2007, at
Lakeside
Living
Center in Quitman.
Survivors include her sons, Eddie Ray Manasco and his wife, Peggy, Buddy Manasco
and his wife, Angie, David Manasco and his wife, Paula; daughter, Deenie Smith;
brother, Franklin Hayes; sisters, Ruby Long, Marie Lucas, Ottis Smith, Selma
Schrimpshire; 13 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and nine
great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Manasco and a daughter, Syble
Anderson.

Thomas Slay McCaskey
Services for Thomas Slay McCaskey were held January 30, 1995, ay Freeman Chapel with burial in the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Wayne County, Dr. Shaw Gaddy officiated.
Mr. McCaskey, 81, of Quitman, died January 27, 1995, at H. C. Watkins Memorial Hospital.
Survivors include his wife, Nerva S. McCaskey, Quitman; two sons, Thomas Sims McCaskey, Waynesboro and Richard McCaskey, Ocean Springs; and a sister, Mrs. Maxine Luther, St. Petersburg, Florida and three grandchildren.
He was a member of the Mississippi Bankers Association, Lion's Club, Masonic Lodge of Shubuta and Shubuta United Methodist Church.

James Herman McGee
Services of James Herman McGee were held July 20, 1996, at Wright's Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Odd Fellows Cemetery. Rev. Melvin Boles and Rev. Leland Goodman officiated.
Mr. McGee, 63, of Meridian, died July 18, 1996, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
He is survived by two brothers, Billy McGee and Charles McGee, both of Meridian; and several nieces.

Ms. Meeks, 78, of Quitman, died Saturday, Jan. 13, 2007, at Jeff Anderson
Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include several cousins.
Visitation will be Monday at 12:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Retired
Services for Rube L. Melton will be held today at 2 p.m. at Enterprise United
Methodist Church with the Revs. Phillip Dearmen, Don Harrison and Taylor Wallace
officiating. Burial will be in Enterprise Funeral Home. James F. Webb Funeral
Home is in charge of arrangements.

Regional Medical Center. He was retired from Southern Natural Gas Co. He was a
member of Enterprise United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley Melton; brothers, Cecil Melton and Steve
Melton; a sister, Kay Creel, all of Enterprise and several nieces; nephews;
great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Emmett Lee Melton and Lena Edwards
Melton; brothers, Jack Melton and Wilber Melton; a nephew, Allen Creel and a
sister-in-law, Mary Jo Dearman.
Pallbearers will be Jim Mac, Tim Dearman, Shane Melton, Lance Melton, Andy Kersh,
Mark Keely and Steve Helms

Algie James Moore
Services for Agie James Moore were held July 23, 1996, at First Baptist Church with burial in the Odd Fellows Cemetery. Rev. Rex Yancey and Dr. John Stevens officiated.
Mr. Moore, 86, of Quitman, died July 21, 1996, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
He is survived by two daughters, Dorothy Nettles, Tallahassee, Fla., and Judy Boykin, Quitman; a brother, Thomas O. Moore, Mobile; a sister Zoie M. Bryant, Bowling Green, KY; four grandchildren and several nieces and nephew.

Mrs. Evelyn Moore Dead At Age 78
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 3:30 at Stonewall Methodist Church for Mrs. Evelyn Adelie Moore who died Oct. 4 in Riley Hospital in Meridian.
Mrs. Moore was a longtime member of Stonewall Methodist Church. She was 78 years old at the time of death.
Officiating at the funeral services were Rev. Gerald Chaney, Rev. M. E. Sharp, and Rev. Don Greenwood. Burial was at Enterprise Cemetery.
Survivors include on daughter Mrs. Jimmie Davis, two sons, Mr. James Moore and Mr. Joe L. Moore; eight grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
