BELZONI - Funeral services for Fannie Cooper, 64, of Belzoni, will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Shiloh MB Church, Silver
City. She died of heart failure April 21, 2002, at Humphreys County Memorial Hospital, Belzoni. Burial will be
in Shiloh MB Church Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Home, Belzoni.
Survivors include six sons, Robert Earl Cooper, Vanie Dixon, Charles Cooper and Gregory Cooper, all of Belzoni,
and Willie James Cooper and Andrew Cooper, both of Detroit;
one daughter, Connie Wilder of Belzoni; one brother, Welton P. Taylor of Belzoni; and one sister, Girty Mae Scott
of Belzoni.
Visitation will be today from noon to 5 p.m., with family hour from 6 to 7 p.m., at Smith Funeral Home chapel,
Belzoni. The Rev. Earthe Robinson will officiate.

Mr. M. A. Parisot, an old Yazoo river man, died at his home in Silver City, last week.

Mrs. H. A. Rosenthall of Sliver City, Miss., died at the West house in Durant last Monday evening. She came there
sick a week before and continued to grow worse until she died.

BELZONI - Funeral services for Ethel Lee Wade, 64, of Belzoni, a domestic worker, will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at
Goodwill MB Church, Belzoni. She died of heart failure July 5, 2004, at Humphreys County Memorial Hospital, Belzoni.
Burial will be in Humphreys County Memorial Garden, Belzoni, under the direction of Smith Funeral Home, Belzoni.
Survivors include two sons, Robert Wade of Isola, and Roy Wade of Springfield, Ill.; six brothers, Tom Franklin,
Willie Franklin, Jimmie Franklin, and Willie Lee Franklin all of Chicago, Ill., Freddie Franklin, hometown unknown,
and Alex Franklin of Florida; six sisters, Barbara Franklin of Belzoni, Christine Franklin of Sidon, Debra Joiner
of North Carolina, Pearlie Mae Hill of Chicago, Ill., Minnie Gowdy of Memphis, Tenn., and Geraldine Franklin of
Jackson. Visitation will be Friday from noon to 5 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home chapel, Belzoni, and Saturday from
1 to 2 p.m. at Goodwill MB Church. The Rev. Earl Reed will officiate.
