Frederick Atkinson Crosley

Abbeville - There was a large congregation at the Baptist Church last Sunday, it being the occasion of a very sad event, the funeral services and burial of the late Mr. Crosley, who died here on June 30th from injuries received on the 26th hear Tallahatchie River, while attempting to couple cars. Mr. Crosley was highly esteemed and respected citizen and leaves a large family to mourn his loss. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. J. L. Johnson of your city and it is unnecessary to say they were conducted in a manner to impress upon all the solemnity of the occasion and uncertainty of life.
