John W. Carraway
John Wallace Carraway, the seven-year-old son of J. W. Carraway, was run over and killed by a freight train at Purvis last Thursday. He attempted to crawl under the cars, when the engineer, not knowing of his presence, started the train and the boy was crushed to death. [The Biloxi Herald, April 27, 1907]
