April 4, 1846

SHERIFF'S NOTICE

    Committed to the Jail of Mobile county on the 24th March, 1846, by Charles B. King, Esq. a Justice of the Peace, a runaway mulatto slave called BURWELL, about 23 years of age, 5 feet 5 inches high, has scares on three fingers of the left hand, says he belongs to Wm. W. Goodwin, of Noxubee county, Mississippi. The owner is requested to some forward, prove property, pay charges and take him away or he will be dealt with according to the law in such cases made and provide to jail fees.
