The Columbus Index reports that Col. Simeon Orr, the great stockraiser (sic), died at his home in Brooksville, Noxubee County, on last Thursday morning of consumption.

Scott, Sallie

Mrs. Sallie Scott died in Macon on the 26th ult. She was the wife of S. J. Scott, formerly a merchant of Newton.
