**Note - A paper dated May 6, 1827 shows Silas Stevens and John Tarbutton stating they have settled concerning the Estate of Silas Stevens, Senior...  Families allied with the Stevens include Tarbuttons, Hollands, Fergusons, and Smiths.  Descendants are found throughout the Southern States , including Mississippi and Louisiana.
