Joyce Washer Breaux
TYLERTOWN, MISS. -- JOYCE WASHER BREAUX; Died 9:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 25, 1992, at Walthall General Hospital, Tylertown, Miss. She was 45, a native of Plaquemine and a resident of Tylertown, Miss. Visiting at Wilbert Funeral Home, Plaquemine, 8 a.m. to religious services at 10 a.m. Monday, conducted by Dr. Ben Purvis. Burial in Grace Memorial Park, Plaquemine. Survived by a daughter, Elizabeth Allen, Ft. Walton Beach, Fla.; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Donald and Jessica Washer, Plaquemine, and Todd Allen, Tylertown, Miss.; two sisters, Patricia Ann Theriot, Houma, and Carolyn Bayhi, Tylertown, Miss.; and a grandson, Austin Huggins, Ft. Walton Beach, Fla. Preceded in death by parents, Felix and Hattie Lightsey Washer.

George L. Gore, Sr.
GEORGE LEE GORE, SR., Died 3:02 p.m. Saturday, May 16, 1992, at Walthall County General Hospital, Tylertown, Miss. He was 72, a native of Clinton and a resident of Tylertown, Miss. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of World War II. Visiting Capps Funeral Home, Tylertown, Miss., 10 to 1 p.m. Monday. Graveside services at Hillcrest Cemetery, 2 p.m. Survived by wife, Audrey Hood Gore, Tylertown, Miss.; two daughters, Marie Gore Lambert, Gonzales, and Christie Gore Veronesi, Tylertown, Miss.; three sons, George Lee Gore Jr.,New Roads, Jason Gore, Ruth, Miss., and Mark Gore, Tylertown, Miss.; and a step-son, John Leonard, Baton Rouge; six grandchildren; and a great-grandson. Preceded in death by parents.

Avis Lewis Holmes
Hammond, LA-- AVIS LEWIS HOLMES, Died Saturday, Sept. 2, 1989, in Hammond. She was 75, a native of Walthall Co., Miss., and resident of Hammond. Visiting at Harry McKneely and Son Funeral Home, Hammond, 8 a.m. Monday until religious services at 11 a.m. Burial in Lewis Family Cemetery, Tylertown, Miss. Survived by a daughter, Janette Breaud, Hammond; two sons, J. O. Holmes, Hammond, and Bobby Holmes, Tulsa, Okla; five sisters, Eula and Betty Lou Holmes, and Dollie Rush, all of Tylertown, Miss., Ina Sue Wilson, Chalmette, and Bessie Lee Griffith, Bogalusa; a brother, J. C. Lewis, McComb, Miss.; 13 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by husband, Olin Z. Holmes.

Robert L. Sandifer
Bonita Shores, FL -- Robert Louis Sandifer, 52, of Bonita Shores, died Friday, Jan. 15, 1999.
Born Oct. 18, 1946 in Tylertown, Miss. He was Navy veteran of the Vietnam War. He came to Bonita Shores in 1989 and was employed as a trim carpenter in the construction industry in the area.
Surviving are his wife, Barbara; his son, Adam of Naples; his daughter, Amanda of Sumersville, Ga; his half-brother, Jimmy Wilkins of Tylertown, Miss.; his two half-sisters, Kathryn Wilkins of Tylertown, Miss. and Martha Horn of Jackson, Miss.; his step-mother, Jonelle Sandifer of Tylertown, Miss.; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at a later date in Tylertown, Miss.
Walter Shikany's Bonita Funeral Home, 1000 Bonita Parkway (U.S. 41) was in charge of arrangements.
