Originally considered part of Washington County, Wayne County was established in 1809, and was named after General Andrew Wayne, a Revolutionary War hero.

People who will find interesting documents to transcribe and email to us. We are looking for information such as Biographies, Deaths, Births and Marriages and Obituaries and any "raw data" that folks can use to build their family trees.
