Charles D Thompson husband of Carrie Shoure was only 5 yrears old when his father Joseph Thompson died in Indiana, his mother Margaret Reynolds was Josephs 2cnd wife, Nancy Arnold was his 1st wife. Charles had 5 1/2 siblings from the 1st marriage, when Margaret Reynolds almost immed remarried a Brant.

The 1st wifes children went to live with Aunts/Uncles, & one migrated to Iowa with Uncles. Charles D Thompsons fathers estate was settled in Owen County Ind in 1854. When Charles D became of age, he married Carolyn (Carrie) Shoure. By 1910 they had removed to Adair co, Mo, the family probably does not know of their heritage, but they can find out from the Owen co, Ind probate files.
