LaRoe on Aug. 8, 1929, and he preceded her in death on May 21, 1976. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Billie Patterson, Fordyce, Ark.; six sons, George LaRoe, Strong, Ark., Donald LaRoe, St. Louis, Russell LaRoe, Sturgeon, Harold LaRoe, Hallsville, John LaRoe, Tyler, Tex., Jerry LaRoe, Sturgeon; four sisters, Mrs. Lula Berry, Route 1, Columbia, Mrs. Margaret Forbis, Jefferson City, Mrs. Ollie Mae Turner, Columbia, Mrs. Pauline Warfield, Columbia and one brother, Earnest Kile, Columbia; 13 grandchildren; onr great-grandchild and mother, Mrs. Mamie Kile, Columbia. Two brothers, Hulen and Herbert Kile and one sister, Mrs. Bernice Mahan, preceded her in death. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Charles A. Parker, pastor of Assembly of God Church, officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Memorial Funeral Home after 1 p.m. today.

Officiating will be Mark White, minister of the Church of Christ in Centralia, and William Baucom, minister of the Church of Christ in Doniphan. Interment will be at Glendale Memorial Gardens in Centralia. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Fenton Funeral Chapel in Centralia. She was born May 24, 1929, in Boone County, the daughter of Walker and Rebecca Burks House. She was married to Riley Baucom on July 6, 1946, and he preceded her in death on Sept. 29, 1962. Later, she was married to Russell LaRoe on July 6, 1963, in Columbia, and he survives. LaRoe was a dedicated and active member of Church of Christ in Centralia. As a nurse technician, she was at various hospitals including the veterans hospital, Ellis-Fischel and retired from Columbia Regional Hospital in Columbia. Other survivors include nine children, Wilburn Baucom and his wife, Linda, of Doniphan, Carlene Attebery of Centralia, Ronnie Baucom and his wife, Polly, of Fulton, Rebecca Taft and husband, William, of Sturgeon, Stephen Baucom and his wife, Trisha, of Centralia, Etta Bazzell and her husband, Jon, of Columbia, Russell LaRoe Jr. and his wife, Deanna, of Centralia, Harold LaRoe and his wife, Tresea, of Columbia, and Elizabeth Nichols and her husband, Bill, of Centralia; 35 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Carl Walker House Jr. of Salem, Howard House of Clark and Frank House of Osceola, Fla.; two sisters, Margaret Wells and Belle Black, both of Columbia; stepsister, Ruth Honeycutt of Ala.; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; three sons, Robert Baucom, Jimmy Baucom and Howard Baucom; one granddaughter, Shauna Baucom; brother, Sam House; and two sisters, Dorothy Heuer and Rodesa Spicer.

He was born in Boone County Jan. 22, 1885, to Taylor and Katherine Moreau Laroe and was married in 1904 to the former Mis Lida Johnson. She survives. Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. William McClanahan of Route 4, three grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. A sister and a brother preceded him in death. He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church here and was a real estate dealer in and near Columbia for several years before he retired. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. tomorrow at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Paul Curtis Jr., pastor of the Seventh Day Adventist Church here, officiating. Burial will be in Little Bonne Femme Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Nolan Hawkins, Oscar Brummett, Berryman Allen, Edward Allen, Arthur Gibb and Brown Robinson. The body will be at the funeral home until time for burial.
