M. Sgt. James Newcomer Joins Gen. Wm. Westmoreland's Staff--M. Sgt. James D. Newcomer, has arrived in Saigon and is assigned to the headquarters of Gen. Wm. Westmoreland.  He is with the Air Force adviser group working in the Plans and Policy Division.
   Sgt. Newcomer has been in the service for 19 years.  He has served in France, Italy, Greece, Palestine and Hungary.  One son was born while he and his wife were in Africa, and during his stay in Korea he served on special missions.  He was chosen as outstanding airman for two consecutive years.
   Sgt. Newcomer's parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Newcomer, reside at 302 South Benton.  His wife, Joyce, and three sons, Mike, Kevin and Casey, will remain in Colorado Springs, Colo., while he is away.
