Service for
BEN ZOELLNER,
a former Cape Girardeau resident, will be held at 2 Sunday afternoon at
the United Methodist Church in Flat River. Burial will be in a St.
Francois County cemetery.
Caldwell Funeral Home in Flat River is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Zoellner, 52 years old, of Bowling Green died at
11:30 Thursday night at St. Luke’s Hospital in St. Louis of an
apparent heart attack.
He was born May 2, 1921, in Cape Girardeau and was married to the former Miss Virgie Crites.
Mr. Zoellner was administrator of Ruth
Jensen’s Village in Bowling Green, a home for retarded children.
He was a Mason and a member of the United Methodist Church in Flat
River.
Survivors: his wife, at the home; sons, Tom
Zoellner, Crystal City, and Ben Zoellner, Festus; daughter, Miss Susan
Zoellner, Hannibal; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Zoellner, Tucson,
Ariz.; brothers, Harold and Rudy Zoellner, both of Tucson, and two
grandchildren.
