These two documents on Benjamin Humphries were his Confederate Service Record and his Confederate Discharge Record (which is quite rare to find). He entered into service at Blackwater, Missouri on August 25, 1861 at the rank of private and was discharged on December 3, 1861 for expiration of time of service. He served a total of 3 months and 8 days at the rate of pay of $11.00 a month. It is my understanding that his entire unit was captured and later released. |  |
