Jackson county Marriages
1827 - 1828

(Source: The History of Jackson County, Missouri, publ 1920. Transcribed by Joanne Morgan)

In Jackson County, Missouri, in the year 1827, there were recorded 17 marriages; in the year 1828, 19 marriages. We have thus fully chronicled these first marriages because of the peculiarity of their style of expression, and because the names are now nearly forgotten and lost. Many, however, yet living in Jackson County and elsewhere will recognize in these, their ancestral names.
