Incendiary Fire Near Kansas City-
Kansas City, Mo., June 16.—The residence of Jesse Nolan, situated east of this city, was burned this morning by incendiaries. Nolan heard a noise in the kitchen, got up, and found the house on
fire, apparently fired from under the porch, Friday night last, he saw a man at the window, who, when discovered, was joined by another, and ran away. He suspected their object was to steal meat,
of which he has quite a quantity. He removed this to the cellar for safety, and he thinks the thieves were after this, and being disappointed, burned the house. The loss is $3,000.
