The funeral takes place at Oak Grove cemetery, Sunday afternoon.

Peter H. Tiernan Dead
Kansas City, Mo., April 28 – Peter H. Tiernan, a well-known man in both Kansas and Missouri, and formerly president of the upper house and proprietor of a printing establishment in this city, died at his home here yesterday morning aged 57.

Funeral services for Mrs. Jessie L. Totten, 73, who died Friday at her home in Greenwood, were held Monday afternoon at the Greenwood Christian Church.  Burial was at the Greenwood  Cemetery.  The Rev. Merle L. McConnell, pastor of the Lee's Summit Christian Church officated at her service.  Born in Kingston, Ia., Mrs. Totten had lived in Greenwood 43 years and was a member of the Christian Church there.  Her survivors include three sons, Edward I. Totten, Shirley M. Totten and Robert T. Totten, all of Greenwood;  two daughters, Mrs. Emily Henderson, Raytown and Mrs. Viola Appleby, Des Moines and two brothers Charles Chipley, Pleasant Hill and Will Chipley, Martin City.  Pallbearers were Bert Dale, Sam Kissell, Aaron Preston, George Bowin, William Coull and Russell Norrris.
