1979 Services for Doshie B. Royster, 84, of Lebanon were held January 7 at Holman Funeral Home with the Rev. Ewell Groves officiating. Burial was in the City Cemetery. Music was furnished by Kenneth Howe and Gerry Hoke. Selections were Beyond the Sunset and In the Garden. Escorts were Junior Nelson, Junior Cromer, Marvin and Danny Caudle, Herbert Decker and Don Lowery. Mrs. Royster, daughter of Abraham Lincoln and Lucinda Caudle, was born in Wright County, February 11, 1894. She died January 5 in Chastain nursing home, Buffalo. Her husband, Everett, preceded her in death October 20, 1961. She was also preceded by her parents, four sisters and four brothers. Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Verba Cromer of Lebanon, three brothers, Sam Caudle, Grove, Oklahoma, Jim Caudle, Edgerson, Kansas and Clyde Caudle of Stoutland; several nieces and nephews. Everett Otto Royster, 67, of 654 West Hayes, a retired farmer, died Friday 20 October 1961 in Wallace hospital, at 1:45 p.m. He had been admitted as a patient on Thursday night. Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Holman Funeral Home with Rev. Ewell Groves officiating with interment in the Lebanon cemetery. Survivors include his wife Doshie of the home; three brothers, Virgil of Plato; Cecil of Holden; Ira of Yakima, WA; and three sisters, Mrs. Ida Dowden of Competition, Mrs. Opal Prock, Phoenix, AZ and Mrs. Liney Fulks of Licking.
