CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO--WANDA BROWN FALLERT, 64, of Cape Girardeau died Friday, March 1, 1996, at St. John’s Mercy Medical Center in Creve Coeur.
She was born Dec. 23, 1931, to Grover and Agnes Barringer Brown in Chaffee.
Survivors include two sons, Vince Fallert of St.
Louis and Hal Fallert of Des Moines, Iowa; two daughters, Karen Cohen
and Cathy McBride of St. Louis; a brother, Willard Brown of Dexter; a
sister, Emogene McClain of St. Ann and seven grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.
Fallert was a 1952 graduate of Deaconess Hospital School of Nursing.
She worked at St. Francis Medical Center and Cape LaCroix Nursing Home before retiring in 1987.
Friends may call at Ford & Sons Mt. Auburn
Chapel today from 5-8 p.m. Parish prayers will be at 7 p.m. today at
the funeral home.
Funeral service will be at St. Vincent De Paul
Catholic Church Monday at 10 a.m. with Msgr. Edward Eftink officiating.
Burial will be in Union Park Cemetery in Chaffee.

EL PASO, TX--E. PORTER FARMER, 92, of El Paso died Sunday (April 25, 1999).
There will be a private family service today. Burial will be in Chaffee, Mo.
Survivors include his children, Barbara Kusserow and Robert P. Farmer;
his brother, William Shirley Farmer; 14 grandchildren and 10
great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Eva J.; his son, John E. Farmer and a great-grandson.
He worked in maintenance and he was an Army veteran. He was formerly a longtime resident of Missouri.
Arrangements are by Martin Funeral Home West.

ORLANDO, FL--PAUL D. FELTER, 61, Southcot Road, Casselberry, died Friday. Born in Kelso, Mo., he moved to Casselberry from Gaithersburg, Md., in 1972.
He was an instructor at Seminole Community College. He was a member of
St. Augustine Catholic Church. He was retired from the U.S. Navy. He
was a member of the Fleet Reserve and the Christian Service Committee.
Survivors: wife, Marie; sons, David, St. Louis, John, Orlando, Thomas,
Ramona, Calif., James, U.S. Navy; daughters, Paula Seigler,
Casselberry, Kathleen Hale, Goldsboro, N.C.; mother, Frances, Cape
Girardeau, Mo.; brother, Charles, Cape Girardeau; sisters, Vera
Lohmann, Dorris Young, Florence Lewis, all of Cape Girardeau; nine
grandchildren.

Bradenton, FL–HILDA B. FELTHAUS,
85, Bradenton, died May 18, 1998. She was born June 30, 1912, in New
Hamburg, Mo., and came to Bradenton 25 years ago from Detroit. She was
a retired, self-employed interior designer. She was a member of St.
Joseph's Catholic Church and a past president and treasurer of the
Manatee River Garden Club, Hibiscus Circle.
Survivors include a daughter, Judy Acord-Szczesny of Sterling Heights,
Mich.; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Southfield, Mich.
Griffith-Cline Funeral Home, Manatee Avenue Chapel, is in charge.

SCOTT CITY, MO - PHYLLIS LEA FINNEY, 69, died at 7:40 p.m. Oct. 19, 2001, at her home.
Born Oct. 12, 1932, at Illmo, daughter of the late John Louis and Lilly
Florence Blankenship Nation, she was a seamstress for the Ely Walker
Factory and member of Father's Arm Fellowship Church.
On Aug. 28, 1955, at Illmo, she married Marion Lee Finney who preceded her in death on Oct. 19, 1974.
Survivors include: one son, Darryl Finney of Sikeston; three daughters,
Pamela Spurlock of Scott City, Cynthia Kellogg of Oak Ridge and Cheryl
Bratton of Chaffee; six brothers, Paul Nation of Scott City, Earl
Nation of Whitewater, Gene Nation, Richard Nation and John Nation of
Chaffee and Carlos Nation of Sikeston; two sisters, Lois Faegan of
Sikeston and Judy Enderle of Chaffee; and 12 grandchildren and 18
great-grandchildren.
One brother and one sister also preceded her in death.
Services are scheduled for 2 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel
in Scott City with the Rev. Ken Strong and the Rev. David Thompson
officiating.
Burial will follow in Lightner Memorial Cemetery at Scott City.
Pallbearers will be: James Moss, Brandon Moss, Kieth Bratton, Chad Kellogg, David Keller and Uriah Kiehl.

LITTLETON, CO--LUTIE N. FLYNN, 81, of Littleton died April 2 in Denver. Ashes will be scattered at Mount Lindo.
Mrs. Flynn was born in Oran, Mo., on June 3, 1915. She was retired from
Coors Porcelain. Survivors include son Russell Rogers of Englewood,
(CO); brothers Chandless Tolbert of Michigan, J. B. Tolbert of Florida;
two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.

SCOTT CITY - Cape businessman, Lloyd Ford, dies--LLOYD NEWTON FORD, 52
years old, of Scott City, died unexpectedly late Monday, April 28,
1986, in Las Vegas, Nev., where he was participating in a bowling
tournament.
He was the owner and operator of the Ford Meat Co., in Cape Girardeau.
The body is being returned to the Amick-Burnett Funeral Home here, where arrangements are incomplete.

Funeral service for LLOYD NEWTON FORD of Scott City, 52 years old,
will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Home in Scott City.
The Rev. Glen Leach, pastor of the First Assembly of God Church, will officiate.
With burial in Lightner Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Merlin McConnell, J. W.
Stanfield, Glenn Kuehle, Pete Rhodes, Bill Eckert, Silas Dohogne, Darryl and
Bobby James. Friends may call at the funeral home after 6 p.m. today. An Elks
service will be held at the funeral home at 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
Mr. Ford, owner
and operator of Ford's Meat Co. in Cape Girardeau, died Monday, April 28, 1986,
in Las Vegas, Nev., where he was participating in a bowling tournament. He was
born April 27, 1934, in Cape Girardeau, son of the late Harry Luther and Bessie
Frances Seabaugh Ford. On Nov. 29, 1957, he married the former Mary Lee Smith.
She survives. Mr. Ford, who was associated with his father in a family-owned
market some years ago in Scott City, began the Ford Meat Co. in October of 1958
at Scott City. He moved the firm to Cape Girardeau in 1968. His son, Kenny Ford,
became associated with the firm in 1979. Mr. Ford was a veteran of the Marine
Corps. He was a member of the Southside Baptist Church in Cape Girardeau, and
the Benevolent Protective Order of Elks No. 639.
Surviving, in addition to his
wife, are a son, Kenny Ford, Scott City; a daughter, Mrs. Cheryl Welter, Benton;
one brother, Harry Ford, Hereford, Texas; and four grandchildren. --Contributed by Catherine Allison.
Kansas City, MO--MAURICE PHILLIP FRAZIER,
55, Kansas City in Platte County, died Oct. 30, 1993, at North Kansas
City Hospital. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Newcomer's Floral
Hills Chapel; burial in Floral Hills Cemetery. Friends may call from 7
to 8:30 p.m. today at the chapel. Mr. Frazier was born in Scott County,
Mo., and lived in this area most of his life. He was a former janitor
for the Kansas City Star for 21 years. Survivors include his wife,
Rozetta Frazier of the home; four sons, David Frazier, Avondale, Mo.,
Winston Frazier, Riverside, Charley Frazier, Northmoor, Mo., and
Phillip Frazier, Kansas City, Kan.; his father, William T. Frazier,
Tucson, Ariz.; a brother, Francis Lee Frazier, Killeen, Texas; four
sisters, Earlene Crain, Murphysboro, Ill., Estelle Hamption, Viola
Crain, and LaWanda Langley, all of Sikeston, Mo.; and seven

NC -- MR.
DAVID FREEMAN , 58, of 103 Ennis Road, Lot 5, died Monday,
Jan. 16, in Betsy Johnson Hospital. Mr. Freeman, a native of Scott
County, Mo., was the son of the late Stella Clem and Edward T. Freeman.
He was a maintenance engineer and an Army veteran.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the National
Cemetery in Salisbury.
Mr. Freeman is survived by three sons, Mr. Carl Freeman of Kansas City,
Mo., Mr. David Freeman of Jefferson City, Mo., and Mr. Shelton Freeman
of Hillsborough; three daughters, Ms. Tamara Freeman of Kansas City,
Ms. Lora Wright of St. Louis and Ms. Cara Michelle Freeman of
Hillsborough; a sister, Ms. Peg LaFont of Sikeston, Mo.; and four
grandchildren. Arrangements are by Rose & Graham Funeral
Home.
