VENICE, FL–ROBERT C. RAHMOELLER, 61, Venice, died April 27, 1996.
He was born Feb. 19, 1935, in Fornfelt, Mo., he came to Venice a year ago from St. Louis. He was a director of relations for the Huffmann Corp., retiring after 38 years. He had been a coach for the Sarasota County Special Olympics and was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife, Carol J.
No services are scheduled at this time. Farley Funeral Home and Crematory, Venice Chapel, is in charge.

Lady Lake, FL--CHARLES J. RAUH, 81, of Lady Lake died Monday (Dec. 3, 2001). Born in Commerce, Mo., he moved to Lady Lake from St. Louis in 1996. He was a retired retail manager for a department store and a Baptist. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of American Legion Post 347, Lady Lake. Survivors include his wife, Delores Rauh of Lady Lake; two sons, Ronald Rauh of Slidell, La., and Richard Rauh of Charlotte, N.C.; daughter, Sherry Abrams of St. Louis; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. WINTER SPRINGS, FL--PAULINE D. RAVENSTEIN, 77, 1015 Pebble Beach Circle, Winter Springs, died Saturday.
Born in Chaffee, Mo., she moved to Winter Springs from Altron, Ill., in 1960. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Winter Park Presbyterian Church. She was a member of Stroker's Club of Orlando.
Survivors: son, Joachim D., Cincinnati; brother, Dr. Duane C. Deen, Winter Springs; two granddaughters.

He was a retired self-employed sod farmer with the Ream Sod Farm, Davison. Cape Girardeau, MO--FRANCES HELENA COBLE REED, 93, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2008 at Chateau Girardeau Health Center.  She was born June 16, 1914 in Graysville, KY, daughter of John Thomas and Louisa Bom Coble.  She and Clyde E. Reed were married Dec. 23, 1963 in Benton, MO.  He died Jan. 5, 2007.
A lifelong member of Seventh-day Adventist Church, Helena's entire life born eloquent testimony to her deep and abiding faith.  She had been a cook on riverboats 10 years.  She was awarded Volunteer of the Year for her association with Meals On Wheels in Scott City.  She was a member of Commerce Better Community Club.
She is survived by three sons, Clyde E. Reed, Jr. and wife Fran of Big Canoe, GA, Odis R. Reed and  wife Gloria of Houston, TX, Rodger D. Reed and wife Connie of Jackson, MO; two daughters, Patricia J. LeGrand and husband Maurice of Houston, Susan E. Bond and husband Jay of Cape Girardeau; a brother, George Coble of CA; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a son, Virgil Lee Norton; a brother; and three sisters.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. to service time Friday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.  The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Tom Morris officiating.  Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens at Morley, Mo.


MEMPHIS, TN--AMELIA M. REINAGEL, 94, of Memphis, died Sunday (Oct 31, 1993) at Hillhaven Convalescent Center. Mass will be said at 10 a.m. today at Guardian Angel Catholic Church in Oran, Mo., with burial in the church cemetery. Amick-Burnett Funeral Home in Oran has charge.
She leaves a daughter, Sheron Ann Seyer, and a son, Ralph G. Reinagel, both of Memphis; a sister, Pauline Heard of Cape Girardeau, Mo., five grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.

SIKESTON, MO--JULIA RENFRO, 100, a resident of Sikeston, died February 28, 2009 at the home of her daughter.
She was born March 28, 1908 in Okolona, Mississippi to the late Walter and Bessie Jane Randle Edwards and had lived in Missouri for over 80 years.
She was a retired cook and a member of West End Missionary Baptist Church where she served as an usher and Sunday School Teacher.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Lexa Nixon, J. D. Renfro and Sylvester Williams and two children, Flo Spence and Michael Gibson.
She is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law, Everett and Betty Nixon of St. Louis, Oblenis and Flo Gipson of St. Joseph, MI and Arthur Renfro of Sikeston; three daughters and one son-in-law, Bessie Renfro of Chicago, Syletta and Larry Williams and Everlean Brown of Sikeston; 28 grandchildren, 51 great grandchildren and 11 great great grandchildren.
Friends called Saturday, March 7, 2009 from 12:00 until the funeral hour of 1:00 P. M. at the West End Missionary Baptist Church in Sikeston with Rev. L. L. Williams officiating.  Interment followed in the Sunset of Memories Cemetery.

NORTHBROOK, IL–SISTER NORMA HILDA RESSEL, died Nov. 26 (1997). She was 89 years old and was in her 71st year of religious life as a Holy Spirit Missionary Sister.
She was born in Benton, Mo., the fourth child in a family of 10 children. She attended St. Augustine's Elementary School in Kelso, Mo.
In April, 1925, she joined the Holy Spirit Missionary Sisters at Techny. Three years later she professed her first religious vows. Several months later, she began her mission ministry as a kindergarten teacher in Vicksburg, Miss.
After two years in Mississippi, she was called to serve at St. Therese Hospital, Waukegan, in household and dietary services. From 1942-'48, her mission call was to Girard and later to Hammett, Pa. Another call to mission service brought her to North Little Rock, Ark., for three years.
In 1951, Sister Norma returned to Techny, where she served the elderly at St. Ann's Home until 1983, when St. Ann's Home was closed and she moved to the Convent of the Holy Spirit. In recent years, she had been living in retirement in Maria Hall at the convent.
Most of her immediate family members have died. Two of her sisters joined her as Holy Spirit Missionary Sisters: Sister Sienna Ressel, who is now serving at Sacred Heart Home in Hyattsville, Md., and Sister Patricia Ann Ressel, a former missionary to Ghana, West Africa, who presently resides at the Techny convent.
She is survived by another sister, Mrs. Marcella (George) Lankheit of Charleston, Mo., and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Mass of the Resurrection was celebrated Monday at the Convent of the Holy Spirit, Techny. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery, Techny.

LEXINGTON, IL - CARL F. RHODES, 74, of 301 E. Wall St., Lexington, a construction laborer, died at 2:48 a.m. yesterday (March 17, 1993) at his residence. He had been ill.
His funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Musselman-Beck Funeral Home, Lexington, the Rev. Dennis Pritchard officiating. Burial will be in Lexington Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. Rhodes was born March 6, 1919, in Vanduser, Mo., the son of Claude and Leona Smith Rhodes. He married Irene Crump Aug. 21, 1943, in Lexington. She survives.
Other survivors include a daughter, Elizabeth S. Lockenvitz, Lexington; one sister, Gertrude Armstrong, Lexington; and two grandchildren.
A brother and sister preceded him in death.
He was a member of Church of Christ, Uniting, Lexington, and was a member of Laborers Local 362 for 30 years. He retired in 1981 because of disability.

WESTMINISTER, CO--BERNICE L. RICHARDS, 89, of Westminster died March 5. Services were March 8, with burial at Crown Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Richards was born in Benton, Mo., on May 31, 1906. She married Carl Richards, 1931. She was a member of Eastern Star Loyalty Chapter 145.

Bowling Green, KY--CHARLOTTE L. RILEY, 91, of Bowling Green died at 11:20 a.m. June 19, 2002, at her home.
The Scott County, Mo. native was a housewife and a member of Lehman Avenue Church of Christ. She was a daughter of the late Rayeford Royal and Mary Harding Royal and wife of the late Stanley Riley Sr.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at J.C. Kirby & Son Funeral Home, Lovers Lane chapel, with burial in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Survivors include a daughter, Mary R. Keown of Bowling Green; six sons, Stanley Riley Jr. of Shelbyville, J.D. Riley of St. Matthews, Dr. Cordell Riley of Glasgow, Wayne D. Riley and Perry P. BUFFALO, NY--GLADYS ANN RINN--A Mass of Christian Burial for Gladys Ann Rinn was offered Monday in St. Mary's of the Cataract Catholic Church.
Mrs. Rinn, 88, died Friday (Nov. 24, 1989) in Niagara Falls Memorial Nursing Home.
Born in Oran, Mo., she came here in the 1940s after living in Chicago.
She was a pianist and studied at the Madames of the Sacred Heart Academy in Joliet, Ill.  Mrs. Rinn was a teacher at Sacred Heart Elementary School here for 22 years before retiring in 1975. She was a member of the Foster Grandparents of Niagara Falls.  
Survivors include two sons, James T. of San Diego and David F. of Silver Spring, Md.; a brother, Harold T. Heisser of San Diego; a sister, Norma Nelson of Binghamton; eight grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.

ORLANDO, FL--PAUL RISTIG, 88, 412 Lillian Drive, Orlando, died Friday. Born in Benton, Mo., he moved to Orlando from Cape Girardeau, Mo., in 1926. He was a retired certified public accountant. He was a member of the Downtown Baptist Church, Orlando. He was a member of the Camelia Society of Central Florida, American Camelia Society, and the Pine Castle Center of the Arts. SCOTT CITY, MO - NORVAL NICHOLAS ROBERT, 71, died at 7:50 a.m. Sept. 21, 2001, in Greenville.
Born Dec. 11, 1929, at Kelso, son of Martha Catherine Westrich Robert of Benton and the late Nicholas Henry Robert, he was a boiler technician for St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau and member of St. Augustine Catholic Church in Kelso.
On Oct. 7, 1950, in Cape Girardeau, he married Elvie Lee Robison who survives of the home.
Survivors in addition to his wife and mother include: one son, Thomas Robert of Scott City; one daughter, Marian Ellis of Scott City; one brother, Melvin Robert of Cape Girardeau; one sister, Martha Hamm of Benton; and three grandchildren.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City, where parish prayers are scheduled for 7 p.m.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Augustine Catholic Church with the Rev. Oliver Clavin officiating.
Burial will follow in the St. Augustine Catholic Cemetery.

CHAFFEE, MO - GEORGE WILLIAM ROBINS, 73, died Nov. 4, 2001, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
Born May 5, 1928, in Palestine, Ark., son of the late Ullit and Martha Shaford Robins, he was a member of the SEMO Beagle Club and retired as a machine operator for the Caterpillar Tractor Co. in Joliet, Ill.
On July 27, 1989, he married Ersell Hathcock who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: one son, Michael Robins of Auburn, Ga.; one stepson, Lyndell Greenlee of Bullhead, Ark.; four stepdaughters, Bonnie Haney of Chaffee, Melba Valerza of Kankakee, Ill., Martha Berry of Aroma Park, Ill., and Tereasa Clodi of Clifton, Ill.; five sisters, Sue Kent of Deerfield Beach, Fla., Faylene Cantu of Fresno, Calif., Lana Barringar of Princeton, Ill., Anna Givens of Allenville and Judy Lackey of St. Ann, Ill.; and two grandchildren, 11 stepgrandchildren and five stepgreat-grandchildren.
Three brothers and one sister preceded him in death.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee where services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Kenneth Harp officiating.

CHAFFEE, MO - MARIE W. ROBINSON, 78, died at 8:40 p.m. Nov. 25, 2001, at her home.
Born July 19, 1923, at Painton, daughter of the late William and Winnie Barker LaGrand, she was a pants presser for Thorngate Ltd. in Chaffee before retiring and was a member of the General Baptist Church at Chaffee.
Survivors include: three sons, Charles "Chuck" Robinson and Steven Robinson of Chaffee and Rick Robinson of Cape Girardeau; one daughter, Carolyn Nance of Chaffee; one brother, Marvin LaGrand of Chaffee; two sisters, Millie Head of Prudenville, Mich., and Faye Heath of Chaffee; and seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee, where services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Watis Harrell, officiating. Burial will follow in Union Park Cemetery.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL–MARY RODGERS, 83, of 3456 21st Ave. S, St. Petersburg, died Wednesday (Sept. 16, 1987) at Humana Hospital Sun Bay. Born in Kelso, Mo., she came here in 1980 from West Palm Beach. She was a retired office worker for Westinghouse. She was a Catholic.
Survivors include a brother, Hugh Rodgers, East Newark, N.J.

Cape Girardeau--RAYMOND T. ROTH, 94, of Cape Girardeau passed away Friday, Dec. 24, 2010 at Life Care Center.  Mr. Roth, a longtime Illmo businessman, was born Oct. 9, 1916 in Illmo, son of Martin Frederick and Elsie E. Lueddecke Roth.  He graduated from Illmo High School in 1934 and was the oldest surviving graduate.  He attended Southeast Missouri State Teachers College.
Roth joined the Army National Guard in 1934 and served in the Army Air Corps during World War II.  He retired from the National Guard with the rank of lieutenant colonel.
After returning from the war he started Roth Hardware in Illmo in 1947, which is still owned and operated by family.
On July 31, 1940, he married the former Opal P. Sample.  She preceded him in death June 7, 1998.  In August 1999 he married the former Dorothy Davis.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Peggy R. Brooks (Norman) of Scott City, Linda Harmon (James) of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; three granddaughters; three great-granddaughters; a stepdaughter, Gina Asberry; a stepson, Bill Busche; and two sisters-in-law.
In additon to his first wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Dr. Steven F. Roth, and three brothers.
He was baptized and confirmed at Eisleben Lutheran Church in Illmo and was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Chapel.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel.  The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the chapel, with the Rev. Barry Pfanstiel of Good Shepherd officiating.  Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park, with full military rites by Missouri Honor Guard.


BAY VIEW GARDENS, IL -- CHARLES R. RUBEL, 68, of 304 Garber Lane died at 9:55 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 10, 1999, at Proctor Hospital in Peoria, (IL).
Born May 21, 1931, in Illmo, Mo., to Albert and Caroline Ruebel Rubel, he married Velva Greer Ballard on Sept. 27, 1951. He later married Bethann Templeton on March 21, 1970, in Hanna City (IL). She survives.
Also surviving are five sons, Rick (and Cathy) of Hanna City, Jeff, Timothy and Charles II (and Barbara), all of Spring Bay, (IL) and Kenneth (and Rita) of Pocahontas, Ark.; four daughters, Mrs. Ray (Deborah) Matheny and Mrs. Kenny (Kimberly) Thurston, both of Bay View Gardens, and Mrs. Jamie (Pamela) Lotz and Mrs. Scott (Julie) Sheets, both of Metamora (IL); one sister, Marie Mirguax of Scott City, Mo.; Josie Holland of Bayview Gardens, who took care of him; 20 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by 11 sisters, two brothers and one granddaughter.
He worked in the gas department at CILCO for 41 years, retiring in 1993. He also was a farmer.
He was a member of Spring Bay Methodist Church.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Mason Funeral Home in Metamora. The Rev. Mark Boster will officiate. Visitations will be from 5 to 8 tonight and one hour before services, both at the funeral home. Burial will be in Spring Bay Cemetery.

CHAFFEE, MO--WANDA IRENE RYAN, 88, of Chaffee died Friday, Dec 17, 2010, at The Palms Medical Care Center in Sebring, Fla., following a brief illness.  She was born March 25, 1922 in Chaffee, daughter of James Paul and Edna Robbins Jones.  She and Evans "E. H." Ryan were married Feb 4, 1940.
Wanda was a graduate of Chaffee High School and a lifelong member of First Baptist Church of Chaffee.
She is survived, admired, loved and missed by her husband, Evans of Chaffee; a daughter, Carol Cannon of Chaffee; five sisters, Norma Evans of Chaffee, Glenda Good of Murfreesboro, Tenn., Ann Isbell of Eaton Rapids, Mich., Marilyn Hunt (Carlton) of Arnold, Mo., Doris Ward of Chaffee; two brothers, Jim Jones ( Barbara) of Cadillac, Mich., and Bill Jones (Marla) of Tampa, Fla.
Also five granddaughters, Karen Cannon Brown of Springfield, Mo, Kathi Cannon Stone (Tim) of Cape Girardeau, Lynn Ryan of Affton, Mo, Stacy Ryan Shelton (Ron) of Jonesboro, Ark, Kas Ryan of Oakland, Tenn; two grandsons, Randall Ryan of Jonesboro, Chris Cannon (Pam) of Cape Girardeau; nine great-granddaughters, Andrea Ryan Crawford (Tommy) of Leachville, Ark., Kori Brown Skidmore (Travis) of Springfield, Karl Stone, Caitlin Cannon, Madison Cannon, Mackenzie Cannon, all of Cape Girardeau, Lindsay Tivoli of Affton, Brittany and Amanda Ryan of Leachville; four great-grandsons, Ryan and Reid Shelton of Jonesboro, Alex Stone of Cape Girardeau, Michael Ryan (Ashley) of Jacksonville, Ark; a great-great-granddaughter, Bailey Crawford of Leachville; two great-great-grandsons, Gage Skidmore of Springfield and Noah Cook of Leachville.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sons, John and Bob Ryan; and three brothers.
Wanda had a kind and loving spirit.  She was feisty with a touch of sarcastic wit and a wonderful sense of humor.  Through the years, Wanda and Evans loved to travel.  Hawaii, Alaska and Jamaica were some of their favorite destinations.  They spent their winters over the last 20 years as "snow birds" in Avon Park, Fla., where they have many close friends.  In addition to travel, Wanda enjoyed camping, reading, playing bingo and especially playing Yahtzee.
She loved God and her family and will be deeply missed by all who loved her.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee, and from 9 a.m. to service time Thursday at First Baptist Church in Chaffee.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the church, with Matt Buttrum officiating.  Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau.
Pallbearers will be Ron Shelton, Tim Stone, Randall Ryan, Chris Cannon, Travis Skidmore, Ryan Shelton, Alex Stone, Reid Shelton and Gage Skidmore.
