Fred E. Duncan
Fred E. Duncan, 72, of Flat River died Dec. 10 at Mineral Area Regional Medical Center. He was born Jan. 16, 1916 in Flat River to the late Edward and Ida Louella Williams Duncan. He was preceded in death by two daughters; Mona Duncan and Connie Duncan. He is survived by his wife, Mildred L. Williams Duncan of Flat River; one son, Fred Darrell Duncan of St. Louis County; one daughter, Barbara Lou Duncan of Farmington; one stepgrandson; one half-brother, Robert Duncan; one half-sister, Peggy Johnson of Oklahoma; four nephews; his stepmother, Mrs. Lelia Duncan and other friends and relatives. Friends may call today at the Caldwell Funeral Home. Services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Caldwell Chapel with Rev. C. R. Hampton officiating, assisted by Rev. Earl Ames. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery.

Leo Glenman Eaton
Leo Glenman Eaton, 71, of Leadwood, died Jan. 25 at Bonne Terre Hospital. He was born March 23, 1917, at Frankclay to the late Lester B. Eaton and Otta Helen Eaton. He was preceded in death by his wife Ruth Elizabeth Sago Eaton. Mr. Eaton was a Navy veteran of World War II, a land representative for St. Joe Minerals, and a member of the Leadwood United Methodist Church. He is survived by two sons; Richard Poe Eaton of St. Louis, Glenman Bernard Eaton of Florida; one daughter, Nedra D. (Mrs. Larry) Queen of Bonne Terre; one brother, Rolla D. Eaton of Farmington; one sister, Jewell M. (Mrs. Bob) Walter of Ohio; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren. Friends may visit after 6 p.m. today at the Bert Boyer Funeral Home in Leadwood. Services will be held Friday 1 p.m. at the Leadwood United Methodist Church with Rev. Robert Felt officiating. Burial will be in the Leadwood Cemetery under the direction of Bert Boyer Funeral Home.

Lester Bamen Eaton
Lester B. Eaton of Leadwood died December 10 at Bonne Terre Hospital at the age of 74. He was born August 27, 1895 in Washington County, a son of the late Abraham Roe Eaton and Susan Belle Woolford Eaton. Surviving are: his wife, Helen Eaton of Leadwood; two sons, Lee Eaton of Leadwood and Rolla Eaton of Route Two, Farmington; one daughter, Jewell (Mrs. Robert Walther) of Rockey River, Ohio; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; on sister, Mrs. Ava McFarland, Desloge; two brothers, Willard Eaton of Leadwood and Earl Eaton of Greenville, Ill. Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Leadwood Methodist Church with the Rev. Harold Spiva officiating. Interment will be in Leadwood Cemetery. The body is in state at the Bert Boyer Chapel in Leadwood.

Murrell Eaton
     Nov. 5, 1968: Suffers Heart Attack. Murrell Eaton of Findley, Ohio, formerly of Leadwood, suffered a severe heart attack while at his work, Friday. He is a patient at Blouchard Valley Hospital in Findley, Ohio. He is the brother of Lester Eaton of Leadwood, Mrs. Ava McFarland of Desloge and Willard Eaton of Leadwood. According to the family, his condition is critical. Nov. 18, 1968
     Murrell E. Eaton of Findley, Ohio, formerly of Leadwood, died Nov. 12, at Blanchard Hospital at the age of 54 years. He was born January 28, 1914 in Leadwood, son of the late Abraham Roe Eaton and Susan Belle Woolford Eaton. Surviving are: his wife Zelma Eaton of Findley, Ohio; the following children, Beverly June (Mrs. Dick Dillingham) of North Baltimore, Ohio, Rebecca Belle (Mrs. Marlon Perry) of North Baltimore, Ohio, Eugene Allen Eaton of Findley, Ohio, Judith (Mrs. Keith Nusser) of Findley, Ohio, Doris Eaton of the home; three brothers, Earl Eaton of Greenview, Ill., Lester Eaton of Leadwood and Willard Eaton of Leadwood; one sister, Ava McFarland of Desloge; ten grandchildren. One brother and two sisters preceded him in death. He was a member of the Howard Methodist Church in Findley. Funeral service was Friday 1:30 p.m. at the Miles Chapel in Findley with the Rev. Clarence Miller officiating. Interment was in the Maple Grove Cemetery.

Otta Helen Eaton
Helen Eaton, 90, of Leadwood, died Dec. 11, at the Bonne Terre Hospital. She was born April 6, 1898 to the late Moses C. and Margaret Jane Blankenship Brooks. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Eaton. She is survived by two sons, Leo Eaton of Leadwood and Rolla Eaton of Farmington; one daughter, Jewell (Mrs. Robert) Walters of Rocky River, Ohio; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren. Friends may call today at the Bert Boyer Funeral Home. Services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Leadwood Methodist Church. Burial will be in the Leadwood Cemetery.

Ruth Elizabeth Sago Eaton
Ruth Eaton, 66, of Leadwood died Monday at Farmington Community Hospital. She was born on March 14, 1917 in Frankclay to the late William and Alice Wallen Sago. Mrs. Eaton is survived by her husband, Leo Eaton, of Leadwood; two sons, Richard Eaton of St. Louis and Glenman Eaton of the state of Florida; one daughter, Mrs. Larry (Nelda) Queen of Bonne Terre; two brothers, John Sago of the state of Indiana and Alvin Sago of Flat River; four sisters, Pearl (Mrs. Glen) Scott of Palmer, Bertha Sago of Frankclay, Edna (Mrs. J. P.) Hill of St. Louis, and Velma (Mrs. Vurden) Neubrand of Desloge; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Leadwood Methodist Church with Rev. Ray Stanley officiating. Friends may call at the Bert Boyer Funeral Home in Leadwood. Burial will be in the Leadwood Cemetery.

Willard Eaton
Willard Eaton, 78, died Jan. 14 at his residence in Leadwood. He was born Aug. 2, 1910 at Frankclay to the late Abraham Roe Eaton and Susan Belle Woolford Eaton. He is survived by his wife, Thelma Eaton of Leadwood; two daughters; Joan (Mrs. Billy) Fornish of Virginia Beach, Va., Sandra (Mrs. John) Schmidt of Hampton, Va.; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. Friends may visit today at Bert Boyer Funeral Home in Leadwood. Services will be Tuesday 2 p.m. at Leadwood Methodist Church with Rev. Robert Felt officiating. Burial will be in Leadwood Cemetery.

Archie Lee Ellis
BISMARCK — Archie Ellis, 87, passed away on July 1, 2007, at his home in Farmington. He was born on January 27, 1920, at Ellington, son of the late William and Mamie Allison Ellis. Archie attended the Abundant LIfe Church of Farmington.
    He is preceded in death by: Mary Maude Ellis Sheeley, Violet Marie Bain, and Dolly Evelyn Ellis. Also preceding him In death were his wife Hazel (Davis) Ellis, daughter of the late Clarence and Mary Alta Reese Davis.
    He is survived by: One son, Gary Ellis and wife Katherine of Festus; one granddaughter, Kimberly Grau of De Soto; three grandsons, Zachary Scott Ellis and wife Laura of St. Louis, Joseph J. Ellis and wife Hannah of Festus and Michael O'Hanlon; a step-grandson Gavin Weber; six great-grandchildren: Emily Gaines and husband Justin, Terry Grau Jr., Joey Grau, Hailey Marie, Wm. Joseph, and Kendall; five sisters: Wilma Louise Rlckmar and husband Albert of Bismarck, Rae Eloise Winfrey of Wright City, Lucy Ella Love of Bismarck, Betty J. Mayberry of Bismarck, and Rosalie Chapman and husband Leroy of Hillsboro; one brother, Harry D. Ellis of Bismarck; several nieces and nephews.
    Visitation will be 5-8 p.m., Thursday at Shipman Funeral Home, with a VFW service to be held at 7 p.m., in the Chapel. Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Friday at the Shipman Chapel with Rev. Ricky Hensley. Burial will be In the Bismarck I.O.O.F. Cemetery.

Earl Griffin
     Earl Griffin of Farmington passed away at the DePaul Hospital in St. Louis, Tuesday, December 16, 1952, at the age of 52 years.
     Funeral services were held at the Memorial Methodist Church conducted by the Rev. E. C. Cole, Thursday, December 18th at 2 p.m. Interment K. of P. Cemetery, Farmington. Cozean Service.
     Mr. Griffin is survived by three brothers and two sisters. They are Willard, Perry and Glen Griffin of St. Louis, Edna (Mrs. C. O. ) Reagan, St. Louis and Louise (Mrs. L. C.) Roser of Belleville, Ill.
