At the residence of G. A. Vandeveer, on Sherman street east, Wednesday occurred the pleasant marriage of Hugh B. Babcock, of Shelby, Illinois, and Sarah E. Vandeveer, of this city, Rev. D. M. Moore officiating. Mr. Babcock is a highly respected citizen of Shelby, Illinois and his bride is a sister of Geo. Vandeveer of this place, and during her residence in the city she has formed a large circle of friends who will wish her much joy. The happy couple will probably make Shelby their future home. The Clipper congratulates.
