LANKFORD - Sister Lankford (no given name) was born in Smith co, Tenn, 14 June 1793, and died 15 Dec 1876, aged 83 years 6 mos 1 day. She joined the Methodist Church at the age of 16 yrs... The writer preached her funeral to a large audience, at Essex, Stoddard co, Mo. May God's rich grace rest upon her beloved dau. -DC Flynn
