Florence (Neff) Coats Ingram was born August 31, 1892, in Guthrie Center, Iowa, the daughter of Jake and Etta Neff,
and died August 2, 1980 in Kabul Nursing Home at age 87 years, 11 months, and two days, following an illness of
one year.
At an early age she made a committment to Christ and during her life she was a member of Bapitst churches in Summersville,
Cabool and Ontario, Oregon.
She also was a member of the Order of the Eastern star, Barnes Chapter #252 of Cabool. She was active in both organizations
most of her life and was a dedicated Christian.
Mrs. Ingram moved back to Cabool in 1963 from Ontario where she had resided for a number of years. She grew up
in Cabool where she attended Cabool Schools, graduating from Cabool High School. Most of her life was spent in
Texas County.
Surviving are two sons, Billy B. Coats, Nashville, Tennessee, and Byron E. Coats, Jr. of Cabool; three granddaughters,
six great grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Shannon, Ash Grove, Missouri and several other relatives.
Funeral services were 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, August 5, in Elliott-Gentry Chapel with Rev. K. A. Bolerjack and Rev.
George taylor officiating. Burial was in Cabool Cemetery.

Alva Asberry "Az" Inman (no heading was on obit I
have)
Alvae Asberry Inman, son of Liza and Alvie Inman was born in Texas Co., January
18, 1873, and passed away Sept. 2, 1954.
Making his age at the time of his death 81 years, 7 months and 15 days. He had
suffered a stroke two months before death.
He was united in marriage to Mary Jane Fansler on Nov. 18, 1903, and to this
union was born one son, who died in infancy.
His wife, Mary preceded him in death June 24, 1951. He was a member of the
Church of the Brethren.
He raised two nephews, Alva Skyles of Cabool and Marshal Skyles of New Liberty,
Iowa, making a home for them and being a father to them.
He was as much devoted as if they were his very own sons. Survivors include the
two nephews, which he raised.
Two brothers ~ Marshal Inman, of Portersville, Calif., and Haden Inman,
Kendrick, Okla., one sister, Almeda Johnson of Hartshown, Mo.
He also leaves other nieces and nephews.
Services were held at 2 P. M. Saturday at the Cabool Church of the Brethren with
Rev. Kent Naylor officiating.
Interment was in Pleasant Grove cemetery by Elliott-Gentry.
Missouri death certificate shows he had been in Hart Rest Home, Rural Piney twp,
Texas Co., MO.
Alva is the spelling for his name on certificate, parents were shown as ~~~
Inman and Liza ~~ (They were Alva Inman and Eliza Ann Rustin). Alva Skyles was
informant.

Mary Jane Inman
Mary Jane Fansler, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Fansler was born in Boone
Co., IL, July 24, 1882 and passed away June 24, 1951 at the age of 68 years.
She came with her parents to Missouri when a young girl making their home near
Cabool and she has resided here since that time.
She was united in marriage to Alva A. Inman Nov. 18, 1903 and to this union was
born one son who died in infancy.
She raised two nephews, Alva and Marshall Skyles making a home for them, She was
as much devoted as if they were her very own sons.
She was baptized in the Church of the Brethren Sept 26, 1928 and was a faithful
member, so long as her health permitted.
She had been quite ill since the early part of this year. Her family has given
all the care they could. She was in Springfield hospital for 7 weeks.
She is survived by her husband Alva A. Inman, the 2 nephews she raised, Alva
Skyles of Cabool and Marshall Skyles of Liberty, Iowa.
She was especially fond of the Alva Skyles (paper left out part about nephews
Marshall and) feeling as if they were her own grandchildren.
She also leaves other nieces and nephews and many, many, many friends.
Though death may part us for awhile
It never can erase the memory of a loved ones smile or a dear ones face
For memories will always stay as years go passing by,
And there is comfort in the thot,
That loved ones can never die.
Funeral services were held at the Brethren church Tuesday June 26, and burial
was made in the Pleasant Grove cemetery under direction of the Elliott Funeral
home.
A thank you note shows A. Inman, Mr. and Mrs. Alva Skyles and family, Mr. and
Mrs. Earnest Wood and family, Mr. and Mrs. Roscoe Altis and family
Mary Jane's death certificate shows she died in the Rest Haven Rest Home in
Norwood, Wright Co., MO.
She had lived all her married life until in hospital in Texas Co., MO. Informant
was Mrs. Alva Skyles.
