Zeb Glasbrook Died Friday August 26th. Funeral Held At North Catawba Baptist Church Saturday: 72 Years Old. LARGE FAMILY SURVIVES Zeb Glasbrook died at his home near Valdese Friday, August 26. The funeral services were held at North Catawba Baptist church Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock. Mr. Glasbrook was 72 years of age. He had been in ill health for some time, suffering from gland trouble. When a young man he was married to Lava Ennis. To this union seven children were born, six of whom are living. She preceded him to the grave 12 years ago. Mr. Glasbrook was married to Mrs. Emma Dale in 1920. He is survived by his widow and six children; Mrs. F. W. Jones, of Granite Falls, Mrs. W. A. Helms, of Hickory, William Glasbrook, Martin Glasbrook, J. E. Glasbrook, and A. L. Glasbrook, all of Valdese. 16 grand children and two great grand children also survive.

Samuel Glazebrook
Mr. Samuel Glazebrook, who had been living with his daughter, Mrs. Chas. Stamey near Valdese, died Wednesday night, April 24th, with tuberculosis and cancer. The funeral was held at North Catawba church on Friday following, at 11 o'clock, by Rev. Bost, of Valdese, and the remains were laid to rest in cemetery by his wife, Mrs. Alice Glazebrook, and three children also, Wesley, Nettie and Alice have preceded him. Eight Children are left behind to mourn their loss: James, Dart, Earl, and Fred, Lizzie, Emma,`and Susan. Mr. Glazebrook was 64 years of age. He leaves three brothers, Bill, Zeb, and Rufus Glazebrook, Samuel being the youngest boy. There were a large crowd of relatives and friends to pay their last respect.
