Bodies of Carolina and Alabama Soldiers Shipped
Two military funerals were held Monday afternoon. The body of Corp. Zestal Wilson, Company A, Third North Carolina infantry, was shipped to Lexington, N.C., at 3 o'clock, and the body of William F. Nichols, an unassigned recruit, was sent to Piedmont Ala., at 2 o'clock.
Services for Pvt. S. Cantrell of Company M, Fifth Georgia infantry, were held Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock and the body shipped to Walhalla, S.C. He died at the base hosptial.
